Re: International and Olympic Setup

What happens when a team gets promoted? Say I get relegated to Div 2' date=' will I have to completely change my team?

You can't have 9 teams to a league either...

I'll take Italy/Milan if they're still available.[/quote']

The way I look at it once you have your team you have them. But you wouldn't be able to add anyone not already on your roster. For instance if you, since your Italy, fell to 2nd div in the next season you would keep the players you had, but wouldn't be able to add any new players that didn't fall under the original rules. Teams promoted into Div 1 would be able to add meet the new rules.

*thanks for the info on the 9 teams. i would have found out. i'll take a look at adding some other countries. anyone with a suggestion?

Re: International and Olympic Setup

wait im a tad confuzzled.

I am in division 2 right now. if i get promoted (because im an optimist, not a snob) does that mean I follow the original rules?

Or does it mean I follow the new division one rules?

I think the original rules should be kept, just keeps things a bit more tidy.

But it's your setup, your rules.

I agree with this. :)

Will Div 2 teams have to sell their players once they get 24 and over?

This could be harsh, but then again, would be quite an interesting feature.

Re: International and Olympic Setup

here's the dilema... some teams like russia, scottland, japan, etc. don't really have the quality players to participate with u23 squads. so that's what i'm looking for when it comes to figuring out the "tweaking of the rules". personally i like the idea of being strict with all players over age being ousted (except your three designated oldies).

Pending interest, I may simply cut down to 2 divisions. Any thoughts on this?

also Div 1, 3, and 4 can buy any player they want.

i only said that d1 teams, when able, should loan/sell youth players to d2 squads. this is just due to the lack of highly rated younger players for all countries.

looking forward to it.
