Name: Aleks VRTESKI

Nationality: Australian/Macedonian 22px-Flag_of_Australia.svg.png22px-Flag_of_Macedonia.svg.png

Current Club: FK Pobeda 22px-Flag_of_Macedonia.svg.png

Rating: 73

Age: 20

Position: GK

Price: 200k-100k

VRTESKI is a natural when it comes to shot stopping. He started off his career at Australian club Sorrento where he made 40 starts, gaining alot of experience for his future career.

He slowly worked his way up the ranks and made a move to Stirling Lions in 2005. He impressed that much, he was picked as starter for the Aussie's U17 national team.

In 2006, he moved to a club named Wanneroo which was a local team of his. Once again, after making good impressions he was picked for U20 Aussie keeper and played in the Asian Youth Championships after holding a clean sheet on his debut against Sri Lanka.

During the 2006 season, he moved yet again but not to just a club, he moved to the Australian Institute of Sport. All major Olympic athletes trained here, and VRTESKI was on the side as a keeper.

In the 2006/2007 he moved to Australia's best club, Perth Glory where he moved 8 starts but was soon replaced. After frustration of not playing, he made a big move to Macedonia to a club named FK Pobeda. In 2007 he made just 4 appereances for them.

This season however, he hasn't missed a game! He is there no.1 keeper as is the only keeper to have made it into their 1st squad. He has had plenty of time on the field and has won the Makedonska Prva Liga (Macedonian League) already with them!

Predicted Rating Change:

Perth glory best team in aus HAHA

but nice work players who come the AIS are generaly quite good a return to the a league would be good for his rating.

Re: Aleks VRTESKI - The 'Aussy Mace'

Hes a decent young player. Still only 20 and if he plays well continually (apparently he is) his rating will go up. At the current moment id recomend him to anyone who is managing a low rated club who needs a keeper. But yeah he could definately move up in the future.

Oh and to borogz i seem 2 remember a 4-1 win for Perth against sydney in sydney. (personally i say cheers to aloisi for being a **** player coz if he wasnt we might not have won):D
