Very bias in my opinion im a celtic fan so dont watch much english stuff but

Downing should stay same or go down hes been rubbish from what iv seen

Alves needs to go down big let down and a waste of money

If josh walker goes that high greig spence should become an 80 hes good but he should only become 84

Jones and turnball shoudnt me 88 and 87 respectivley jones an 87 turnball maybe 85

And when you say those 2 defenders solid why are boro were they are.

They are bias mate some are ok but a ya need to be a wee bit less bias.

I dont understand some of you ratings, especially Alves and Tuncay. Effectively what you have said for Alves is that he will go down but will go back up, and with Tuncay he will go up and then go back down. How can you predict what they will be like in 2 rating's changes time, unless you have some psychic abilities :P Also, the vast majority of the Middlesbrough players have been given increases, when in fairness, they are having a bad season. They may be through to the cups, but this season they are in 19th place, have a terrible away record, and have only scored 18 goals in total, West Brom have scored that many just at home.

Re: Middlesbrough possible ratings

I dont think Jones will get to 87 at the next ratings. He hasnt played for the whole season and he's only just got a regular place in the team. Even if he has played well, I dont think he has played enough games to get a rise to 87. Maybe 83 or 84 would be more appropriate?

Re: Middlesbrough possible ratings

Im a Boro fan and i can tell you now these are so wrong? Tuncay? Hes been rubbish in 2009, exceptthe West Ham. Alves? Bloody rubbish. Jones has played six games, SIX. Not enough. Yes Turnbull to 87 is a good shout. Jones to maybe 84. In fact:

gk- JONES, Brad 81>>83/84

Has looked solid recently and played well. Could be number one.

gk- TURNBULL, Ross 84>>87

He is in fact not the leagues top shot stopper, Carson is. However, again he looks decent except from a few rooki mistakes but he has made at some times, world class saves. When he plays now he has the confidence and hes getting better and better.

cb-lb- POGATETZ, Emanuel 87>>87

Solid as expected. Nothing spectacular. Doesn't warrant a rise or a drop but he is starting to become more adept at LB.

lb- TAYLOR, Andrew 86 >> 85

Injury troubled season for the U21 international. Sadly, when he has played, he has not looked good defensively, he compliments Downing well going forward but he lacks defensively, much like Armand Traore.

rb- HOYTE, Justin 86>>86/87

He was out for about a month because of injury however he has played extremely well when he was playing. He is extremely solid defensively and his overlapping runs cause a lot of problems for an opponents defense.

rb- MCMAHON, Anthony 81>>83

A small rise for McMahon. He played well and solidly for Notts Forest on loan and then when coming back to fill in for Boro he played well.

rb-cb- JOHNSON, John 74>>78

Person I got added myself =]. A small rise due to his games and good performances at Tranmere.

cb- RIGGOTT, Chris 85>>85

Solid, much like Pogatez doesn't deserve a rise or dcrease. However, come the rating changes after the next he will drop.

cb- HUTH, Robert 87>>88

Huth is the Berlin Wall. Pure and simple. He has proved in the last 7/8 games why Boro payed £6 million for him and even before then he has played extremely well. A small rise is justified as at times he has kept Boro together.

cb-rb>>cb/cm BATES, Matthew 81>>83

Battled well out of possistion, a small rise.

cb-rb WHEATER, David 88 >> 87

Nothing near the success or last season, i expect a drop as he has not looked assure or as solid as his counterpart Huth and therefore I expect them to swap ratings.

lm DOWNING, Stewart 89 >> 89/88

He has started play well the last few games but before then he seemed to be lost, with no support and for that reason he may drop.

rm-cm O'NEIL, Gary 88 >> 87

He played quite bad for the first 10 games of the winless run and for that reason i expect a drop. However, the next few games could make or break his season.

dm- SHAWKI, Mohamed 86 >> 83

Played barely any games this season and the few he has played has been poor. Looking for a move.

dm>> cm DIGARD, Didier 86>> 87

The revelation of Boro's poor season, good attacking, good defending. He works constantly and each game he has played he has been one of the only Boro players to stand and fight.

cm- WALKER, Josh 79 >> 82

Huge potential for Walker. Played well when called upon and he looks liek has has a good partnership with Digard, small rise.

wg- JOHNSON, Adam 85>> 86

He has finnally had a run in the team and he has taken that chance with both hands. Very skillfull annd fast however his passing lacks.

fwd- AFONSO ALVES, Martins 89 >> 88

Hasn't performed, hasn't scored. Exactly what a striker should do. Definitly a drop.

fwd-wng TUNCAY, Sanli 90>> 89

Almost certainly Boro's most technically gifted player but he hasn't shown it. Before the West Ham game he didn't even look interested drop.

wng-fwd ALIADIERE, Jeremie 87 >> 86

Injured, not played games hence the drop.

fwd-wng EMNES, Marvin 83>>84

Played okay when coming on for the Boro. A small rise because of his hassling and nuding of the defenders as well as 2 goals in his limited minutes.
