To say Gerrard is better by a mile?! is wrong... Its pretty close but Juninho is the Daddy.

Re: The REAL Free Kick King From 2006+

Ronaldo's are faaaaaar too inconsistent.

Inconsistent?! No Way' date=' Ronaldo Undoubtedly Has The Best Free Kick In The World At The Minute, Thats If You Do Not Include The Great Juninho Who Is On Par With Ronaldo Or Better. Ronaldo's Free-Kicks Are The First Of Its Kind, It Swerves Left And Right And Dips Tremendously, Gave Julio Cesar A Run For His Money And I Might Say Julio Cesar Earns Quite Alot;). Juninho & Ronaldo. Juninho Is Worlds Best Free Kick Placer, As He Likes To Place It Into The Corners And Make The Keeper Look Like His A Conference Keeper, However Ronaldo Likes To Smash Them In With Dip And Swerve Which Makes Them Look Simply Breath Taking.

Stunning You Must Admit.

Now The Placement Master Juninho.:D

Not The Best Viewing Quality Vid, Bit Blury.

Re: The REAL Free Kick King From 2006+

Yes, of course Ronaldo is inconsistent. He takes easily 3 or 4 free kicks a game, but somehow only managed to score 5 in all competitions last season. When they go in, they look brilliant, but 90% of Ronaldo's free kicks don't even get past the wall... and of the ones that DO reach the goal, most fly over the bar.

He's not even in the top 3 free kick takers at United (Hargreaves, Giggs and Tevez are all better).

Roberto Carlos appearing on lists of best free kick takers is laughable, to be honest. Smash it and hope does not equal good. He just happened to fluke that one against France back in '97, so for some weird reason everyone seems to think he's some kind of god. Whats his average per season? I'm guessing about 1. He was once a great left back, but great free kick taker? Err... no.

Sinisa Mihajlovic is definately the best free kick taker I've seen, but he isn't playing anymore.

Juninho is the best at the moment, probably followed by Del Piero.

Beckham king of freekicks. Maybe not the power but curls it in. I wonder if there is a website who has stats of who scored most from freekicks.

Most freekicktakers rather use power No one can bend it like beckham!

exactly against Inter Milan he took 10 and every time the comentater was like ..Its Ronaldos Range... This is his usual Area... We know he can get them from here....

He must take atleast 100 in a season.

Yeah I've gotta agree with you and Schuldiner, most of his free kicks are wastes. Esp. since we've got Tevez and Giggs there as well who can hit the target more regularly. All Ronaldo has is that massive swerve

I think you've forgotten about one player, even though you probably won't have heard of him; Mr. Hugh Robertson, formerly of Hartlepool.

When we signed him, I saw him and thought, "You're a fat lump," but as it turned out, he had an amazing free-kick. Nearly everyone he had went in, and if he did miss they only went wide by an inch or so. All the fans loved him, and we even gave him a nickname. It was something like "Hammer Hugh", due to the ferocity of his free-kicks.

They were really powerful. If he got the ball, defenders, more often than not, just backed off in fear of him.

A very good player as well, but it was a pity he was injured so often.
