Flippin' Out Of This World. Nani Celebrates His 30 Yard Volley.

An unusual Man. Utd side field the pitch tonight as Man Utd owned West Ham. Clubs top scorer Thierry Henry got his 9th goal of the season by putting a spot kick in the top left corner of the goal after CB Jonny Evans was brought down in the box by Anton Ferdinand. 'Quarter of an hour later, Wayne Rooney,23 put a finessed side-foot shot into the top corner as Rob Green was left hammer-shocked. The two clubs went into half time with the red United 3-0 up.

The Hammers started off the second half strongest and were unlucky not to get 2 goals after Dutchman Edwin Van Der Sar saved a spot kick from Ribas Diego as he was denied his 4th goal of the season. Luis Nani showed more skill after taking on many players from the London outfit but was denied a second goal after Rob Green makes a fingertip save in the 76th minute. Ten minutes later, Italian right midfielder Mauro Cameranesi, 32 put a venomous left footed volley into the roof of the net to surely have West Ham done and dusted.

Manchester United FC vs Coventry City FC

United Gaffer Dan Griffin has told the Skysports media he is going to play an unfamiliar side against Coventry on Saturday. He played young centre back Jonny Evans 21, last night in London and said he looked rock-solid at the back and played a vital part in scoring the second goal as he was brought down inside the box. Evans is expected to feature again. Spanish keeper Iker Casillas is expected to be chosen instead of Van Der Sar for the clash against the west midland side. Lucio is now out for 6 weeks with a dislocated shoulder and is a big blow to the defence but that is where Jonny Evans will take his part in Griffins long-term plans for the club. Nemanja Vidic is expected to return along with Marcos Senna after both being out for the West ham game after a flu virus hit the pair. 21 year old Samir Nasri is also set to start for United after being rested.

Coventry manager Lee Morey is saying this is a '' make or break '' game for Coventry and they need to make the game into something special if they are to continue there wanderland form. David Trezeguet and Peter Crouch are both set to start and Veterans Paul Scholes, Robert Pires, David Beckham, Pavel Nedved, Jens Lehmann and Christian Panucci are all set to start giving experience to the west midlands outfit. Coventry have stirred a few upsets in the league this season with a 6-1 thrashing over Arsenal at the Emirates with a Nedved and Inzaghi hattrick, and a 1-1 draw at Anfield with liverpool will make current champions Manchester United feel unstable as Coventry hope to re-live the moments of last season as they beat Man. Utd 2-1 in the dying seconds of the game last year.

Expected Line-ups:

Casillas

Dani Alves - Ferdinand - Vidic

Cameranesi - Lampard - Gattuso - Nasri

Henry - Tevez

Rooney Saga Over.

Earlier today Wayne Rooney moved to Fenerbahce on a 3-and-a-half year deal which will keep him in Turkey until 2012. Man. Utd were sad to see the top striker go but the cash that was brought in will secure players like Carvalha Amauri and Arjen Robben a place in the United squad.

''It's a move i've wanted a long time, i wasn't happy at United as Adebayor took my place due to his fitness and me being out for that half a year injury which gave him the chance to prove himself. I am a lot better than Emmanuel but Griffin doesnt think so, ever since my injury Ade has been on hot form scoring 7 goals in 3 games.'' Words from Wayne Rooney in his unveilance in Turkey.

English Championship 1291 Division 1 Update - Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo Moves To Arsenal !

vtpccr1.jpg

Early morning portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has finally moved away from Old Trafford after all the smog hovering around old trafford causing them to slip up from the top of the table. Ronaldo 24, moved to the Gunners on a 4 year permanent deal. He will now help the Gunners to try and beat United to the title. In this division it is pretty much Arsenal & Manchester United for the title each season. With Chelsea in div 2, Liverpool struggling mid table it is Sunderland, Tottenham and Coventry making the most of there chances.

The deal for Ronaldo will see Dutch central midfielder Wesley Sneijder and Spanish left winger David Silv amove away from the Emirates and head towards Manchester. Sneijder and Silva wasn't apart of the Arsenal's manager future plans so wanted to ship them off and try get a star player like Ronaldo.

''Selling Wayne {Rooney} was a big step into my plans at thec club. With the current owners financial problems i was unable to be funded for the players i wanted so i had a chat with the owners about a transfer for Wayne. It allowed the club to get hold of 80 Million Euros's ( £70 Million ) and that allowed us to get 2 replacements for the big striker and another player for the wing. Now Cristiano has left i used the opportunity to get a replacement for the winger and get another player apart of the deal so we get the better deal.''

Out Of This World. Henry Scores A Spectcular Bicyle Kick

Manchester United started off the game strongly going 2-0 inside the first half hour then they just switched off and Coventry got a deserved goal. There were many chances that Cov could have equalised and they even should have taken the lead before half time but Van Der Sar was too strong to get past.

As the teams came out for the second half United got caught out on a counter attack allowing a well earned Coventry 2nd goal. United had so many chances to go on and win the match but it was just simply not enough.

Final Score 2-2
