English Championship 1291 Division 1 Update - Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo Moves To Arsenal ! Early morning portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has finally moved away from Old Trafford after all the smog hovering around old trafford causing them to slip up from the top of the table. Ronaldo 24, moved to the Gunners on a 4 year permanent deal. He will now help the Gunners to try and beat United to the title. In this division it is pretty much Arsenal & Manchester United for the title each season. With Chelsea in div 2, Liverpool struggling mid table it is Sunderland, Tottenham and Coventry making the most of there chances. The deal for Ronaldo will see Dutch central midfielder Wesley Sneijder and Spanish left winger David Silv amove away from the Emirates and head towards Manchester. Sneijder and Silva wasn't apart of the Arsenal's manager future plans so wanted to ship them off and try get a star player like Ronaldo. ''Selling Wayne {Rooney} was a big step into my plans at thec club. With the current owners financial problems i was unable to be funded for the players i wanted so i had a chat with the owners about a transfer for Wayne. It allowed the club to get hold of 80 Million Euros's ( £70 Million ) and that allowed us to get 2 replacements for the big striker and another player for the wing. Now Cristiano has left i used the opportunity to get a replacement for the winger and get another player apart of the deal so we get the better deal.''
