Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings

Thoughts on these players?

Stefano Guberti

Andrea Poli

Marco Motta

Marco Rossi

General opinions and do you see a rise in the next changes?

1. A decent winger and getting some game time for Roma. Could see +1/+2 rise.

2. Rated very highly in Italy and a must buy if hes available.

3. Playing badly and has apparently lost his place but should stay none the less.

4. Dunno about him.

Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings

IS Kwadwo Asamoah still playing?? ANother rise?

Thanks :D

Has been injured for a long time after picking up a knee injury in pre-season training. However, he is back now and has started the last 4 games for Udinese, including today against Fiorentina. I wouldn't say he'd rise right now, but I don't think the Italian changes will occur for while yet, possibly mid-to-late December. By then, he might have played and done enough to earn himself a small rise. He's a definate keeper though, regardless of his injury.

Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings

Pazzano are you as the resident Italy expert able to compile a list of players to buy and get rid of ahead of the Italian league review?

I know the review may be a little while off yet, probably December time i'd guess, but i'd like to steal a march on the big boys with my mighty Darlington side!

Thanks in advance.

Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings

Just found this on Goal.com

Ranocchia is a very good defender and is rated 80 in SM, snap him up while you can!

EXCLUSIVE: Bari Defender Andrea Ranocchia Hints At World Cup Hopes

Bari defender Andrea Ranocchia has exclusively told Goal.com of his hopes and ambitions down in Puglia. Indeed, he is keeping one eye on the World Cup.

The Italian Under-21 international has forged an impressive partnership with Leonardo Bonucci at Bari, who have the best defence in Serie A. He is regarded as the future of Italy's rearguard, but he hasn't always played at the back.

"My idol has always been Alessandro Nesta, but I am inspired by myself and what I have learned over the years," Ranocchia told Goal.com.

"At first I had started as a trequartista with good feet, I was the typical No.10. Then I got taller and was told to play in defence because I could no longer win balls up front."

The Galletti are flying in the league following their promotion to the top-flight, but the stopper never expected such a great start to the campaign.

"We worked really hard during pre-season, and now it's starting to pay off. I think it's all down to the coach, who gives much on the [training] pitch and instils confidence in us," enthused the stopper.

"I think it's important to have tranquillity running through [the team] as this allows you to believe in your own strengths."

A strength, no doubt, that Ranocchia wants to keep ahead of the World Cup. Marcello Lippi has already said that there will be little room for new faces come June, but that has not dampened his hopes.

"The World Cup? I don't know. The league is still long and it depends on how we finish this season," added the 22-year-old.

"I will try to maintain this standard for as long as possible and then we will see what happens. I think it's still a little early to talk about that."

Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings

What are your opinions of Marius Stankevicius? Im after a long term RB to provide cover for Glen Johnson.

yes imo he is good player and has been regular RB for them now. last year he was a utility man played in MF and DEF. though zauri was playing as RB but he has shifted to LB now.

D' Agostino' date=' captain of Udinese, stay or rise to 90?[/quote']

its tough to be 100% sure that he'll rise or not.but with breaking into NT and playing well should get him 90

What do you think of mobido diakite of Lazio??Will he rise??If yes' date='Whay will he rise to?[/quote']

yes he will rise as he as played quite a few games this season also with siviglia aged 36 he will continue to get game time. imo +3/+4 is not out of question.
