Inter Winger Mancini Celebrates After Scoring The winning Goal At The Emirates.

Last night Internazionale defeated Arsenal at the Emirates to dent there title hopes and give themselves more belief. Arsenal were coming off the back of a 3-2 defeat in Milan on wednesday at the San Siro and yesterday they had to play the blue half of Milan which they also lost. Arsenal and Inter have now swapped places in the league after that result, Inter sit fourth and Arsenal 8th.

Arsenal started the better team by getting a few shots in but nothing was getting past Julio Cesar. Inter made the break through on a counter attack when Dejan Stankovic scored a brace beating Manuel Almunia and his post. In the 15th minute a brawl up started when Samir Nasri lunged out on Ivan Cordoba in the 15th minute which lead in Nasri being sent off, Ivan booked and Esteban Cambiasso booked for arguing. Klass Jan Huntelaar came closest to equalising for the North Londonders when his shot crashed against the bar. Jose Guti then equalised with a caressing curling shot into the top corner. Then just before half time, Alessandro Mancini gave the Italians the lead again when rose above William Gallas to head the ball into the net.

The second half was really dull as both teams were tired from there first half performances. But really Arsenal shoul have won the game and scored another 3 or 4 goals as Inter just gave up. Full time and Arsenal will not be happy, Inter on the other hand will be jumping with joy as they pulled of a win which they certainly didn't deserve.

Next up for Arsenal is a friendly against Atletico Bilboa at the Emirates tonight then its off to sunny Spain were they'll be playing Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Caldron.

;)

Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets join the Gunners on loan for the season and rumours of Cesc Fabregas is on his way to Barca in a deal which could see Yaya Toure and Hernandez Xavi join the Gooners.

Gorgio Chielinni gained a raise going up to 94 as you lot may know and Aquafresca got promoted to the first team when he gained a rise to 88. Mauro Camoranesi had a rating decrease to 92 after a brawl up with Griffin but its all sorted now
;)

The only major transfer was Van Persie, he left the club for spain where he joined Valencia in a deal which saw Arsenal gain David Silva and Rodrigo Vicente. Barca center back Rafael Marquez is set to join after the selling of Cesc Fabregas.

Reluctant Gooners Edge Past Confident Hamburger SV.

Griffins Gunners carry on there fine form making it 3 games unbeaten now as they host dutch champions PSV Eindhoven on saturday at the Emirates looking to get a 4th win on the trot. Anyway, back to tonights game.
:o

HSV started off really strong missing out on 3/4/5 chances to go a few goals up but in form Emmanuel Almunia said nothings getting past me tonight as he saved Saka's penalty just pushing it to the right hand side, and then making numerous amount of saves. Acquafresca had the chance to open the deadlock after his shot skimmed the outside of the right post.

Both teams came out of the tunnel after half time really confident that a single goal could send either side through, and Arsenal were first to respond as Sergey Semsak rolled the ball into the net as the defence appeared to be asleep, you really dont want to give a player like him that much space. Carvalha Amauri could have made it 2 to the Gunners as his shot was pushed aside the post, Referee blows his whistle and Arsenal just edge past HSV, they will be gutted.

Samir Nasri Just Seconds Before He Scored His 4th League Goal For Arsenal And To Wrap Up The Win.

Late last night Arsenal hosted a PSV side who were with just one win in the league. Arsenal, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last 3 games and are looking to extend that run to 4. With a total of 13 points racked up this season, they currently sit 11th. So, lets get to the action.

It took only 15 minutes for the first goal to come, Arsenal's Bacary Sagna scored it, one of the most unexpectant players to score on the field. As a Lucho Gonzalez free kick was whipped in, Isaakson parried the ball away but straight into the path of Bacary Sagna who was on for the rebound when he smashed the ball into the bottom corner. 20 minutes later, Xavi put a sidefooted shot wide from 25 yards out on his debut for the Gunners.

As the second half started PSV were still in this match. They started off well forcing saves out of Manuel Almunia left right and center, but they could not get past the Spaniard. PSV then got a corner and were caught out on the counter attack as French Midfielder Samir Nasri ran through numerous amount of players and buried the ball into the roof of the net taking the gunners to a well deserved 2-0 lead. As Arsenal had a corner Isaakson came out and caught it and Affelay was tackled by Sagna who then crossed in from the left flank for the unmarked Carvalha Amauri to head home and Wrap up the 3 points.
