That is a good signing.

But who will they play now?

Think he knows he's only backup to Hennessy, he's getting on a bit, bench warming in the prem for a season on good money, it's only a one year deal and then I think he'll have a season or two in MLS ;)

Re: Worldwide Football Transfers Thread - 100% Official Only Please

"Official: Lyon's freekick maestro, Juninho, has signed a two-year contract with Qatari champions, Al Gharafa, who have already formally presented the player."

Also in other news, not a transfer, but more of a departure, as more people continue to leave Marseille, this time Club President, Pap Diouf, under Deschamps Era, has left the club.

"After five years as president, Pap Diouf is leaving his functions," read a statement by Louis-Dreyfus on Marseille's official website. "I would like to congratulate him for the work he undertook with the club. He was a great president that worked hard, and always in Marseille's best interests.

"Unfortunately, certain differences which have become apparent prevent us from continue to work together.

"It is time for new challenges, symbolically represented by new coach Didier Deschamps. A new president will be named in the coming days."

Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco have signed former, 'once upon a time', Liverpool outcast, Djimi Traore (CB/LB). His main reason for the move was to once again link up with new Monaco gaff, Guy Lacombe, with whom, Traore, spent time with, whilst on loan at Rennes.

Norwich City have signed defender, Michael Nelson from Hartlepool, after turning down a contract.

Also there has been much speculation that perhaps Barcelona, would make a move for Fiorentina's, Sebastien Frey, those rumours will most likely die now, as Victor Valdes has finally agreed on a extension on his contract that will keep him at Nou Camp till 2014.

Roque Santa Cruz has signed for Manchester City. What a waste of £18 million.

Haha yeah' date=' well it's really a toss-up with him, if he's fit and gets service, then not bad, but if he goes down, its not a matter of how many weeks he's out for but months in most cases. [/font']
