Re: Official Manchester City Thread

john Guidetti.

2011-2012 stats for Feyenoord. 21games 20 goalshas not played for city this season. what a joke. one of the most badfling decitions i have ever come across.

It's because of injury/illness, we tried to take him on loan on deadline day but City are playing on using him as the replacement for Balotelli in the second half of the season.

Re: Official Manchester City Thread

Liverpool will get you lot today no doubt.

It starts to lose it's effectiveness when you say our opponents will beat us every single week. Add in that it wasn't effective whatsoever to start with' date=' and you have an extremely pointless post :)

Spot on. He's come back recently for our reserves and has been putting them away when he's played.

Subliminly you agree with him ;)

Will be interesting to see him, although I highly doubt he will figure much at all with you only being in two competitions now. Scoring goals in Holland is a million miles from the Premier League. Besides having seen a few interviews he seems like a right arrogant git who seems to have thinked he has made it already, when in reality he has achieved next to nothing at any kinda relevent level.

Re: Official Manchester City Thread

Team is Hart, Zabaleta, Nastasic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Garcia, Silva, Dzeko and Aguero.

I'm a fan but would probably have put Tevez in over Dzeko and possibly Garcia at CB again. Bit worried by Suarez and that side has the flexibility to go to 352 if we're struggling to deal with him and Sturride.

Bench is Pantilimon, Rodwell, Kolarov, Sinclair, Nasri, Tevez and Maicon.

Think Mancini realises if you put crosses into Dzeko he's going to win them, it's our constant weakness every week.

Fair point. Hope he takes the chance as he's not impressed when he's started recently (though he does seem to work better with Aguero).

Think we'll win the midfield battle as our set seems to have a lot more bite than yours, with a bit of guile as well. If that is the case then Suarez might get sucked that deep too.

I think we can get a win. First goal will be important though methinks. If we have to press then Suarez will get more space and the same goes for you and Silva, who's been excellent recently.

Re: Official Manchester City Thread

Poor first half from us.

He took his goal well, but Dzeko never seems to get involved unless the ball is in the opposition box. We can't carry players.

Silva and Milner have linked up brilliantly when they've had the chance but they're on different sides of the field. Would rather something more like a 4312 so that they can play at their best.

Whilst Liverpool have been on top, I don't think they've had many clear cut opportunities and our defence has held up fairly well.

Re: Official Manchester City Thread

Any reason you lot are giving Sturridge such a hard time?

He left us rather acrimoniously. Wanted £60k a week (before we got taken over) after a handful of starts and refused to budge resulting in a free transfer to Chelsea as his youth contract expired. We got some compensation as he was a very talented youngster but still nowhere near his value and we were by far the better club for him to be at at the time.

Respect him for not celebrating though.
