Sensation in Olympiastadion

de-hertha-berlin.pngde-borussia-dortmund.png

It's been a productive week for Dortmund, with a lot of new signings and tough training sessions, which pushed the teams to the limits and made them show the originality we all know about the lions.

The action started in the first minute when Hummels got booked after a harsh decision by the Korean referee, the match went on, and Nuri Sahin missed a great chance for dortmund in the 26th minute with the goal wide open for him.

The second half went underway as dortmund showed that they aren't going to rest their case, as Zidan come up with a fantastic header at the 47th minute which gave borussia the lead.

zidan.jpg

Kringe tried to hit the target again but missed, which got Hertha energized as Pantelic and Dardai got it inches wide, with the hertha fans going crazy supporting the berlin team, but the great changes by The General, as he let Al-Qahtani and Diane the new starters to come from the bench, as they showed class and put a great pressure on hertha's line of defense, but failing to add more goals, but this was enough to set the dortmund fans on as they celebrated the win.

Deportivo Stunned as Wonder Kid Grabs A Brace!

Tonight Deportivo Were The Guests at Villarreal's El Madrigal Stadium. Pre-Match Villarreal were widley regarded as favourites despite resting a couple of first-team players (Namely Bruno Alves & Luiz Suarez). The Game Started Slowly With Nobody Troubling the keeper for over 20 minutes. But In the 25th Minute Disaster struck for Deportivo as Adrian scored from close range, only 12 hours after leaving the club. Then former Liverpool Hero Luis Garcia levelled the game in the 38th minute and the scoreline stayed that way going into half time.

After the break Villarreal were the team who had the better of the play and they got their just rewards in the 51st minute, with Dejan Stankovic sliding the ball into an open goal. Then a good passage of play from Deportivo would have got them back level if it wasn't for Hot German Keeper Rene Adler who kept Villarreal in the game. Adrian was having a debut to remember and he topped it off by clinching the match with a tap in on 71 minutes. Adrian was then substituted 4 minutes later and the game ended with Villarreal winning 3-1.

A debut to remember for the young Spaniard.

Everton 0-2 Tottenham Hotspurs

Everton 0-1 C.N'ZOGBIA 14

Everton 0-2 D.BENTLEY 37

Venue: Goodison Park

Attendance: 34,686

Referee: Rob Lewis flags_of_England.gif

Disciplinary: Everton - 1 Yellow Card (Carcela Gonzalez) - Tottenham - 3 Yellow Cards (Darrent Bent, David Bentley, Charles N'Zogbia)

Injuries: Everton - Aiyegbeni Yakubu

Man of The Match: Heurelho GOMES (GK) - 8/10

Tottenham Hotspurs managed to ease past a lacklustre Everton in their own backyard after newboy Charles N'Zogbia and English winger David Bentley fired past Tim Howard in the English premier League's second game of the season.

Sparky gave starts to debutants Dede, Metzelder, N'Zogbia and Motta whilst Keane was replaced by Darren Bent upfront. Tottenham's poor defense in the last match was the cause of the North London outfit drawing their first game but a much improved defense where commanding central defender Christoph Metzelder came in for Woodgate saw their goalkeeper Gomes turn into an unlikely hero.

Despite Spurs winning the match and monopolizing possession, Everton had the most shots which contributed to Gomes taking away the Man of The Match award. 13 shots on goal saw 8 fire on target with Gomes blocking every single one of them incredibly!

gomesxn8.jpg

Unlikely Hero: Heurelho Gomes

Spurs took the lead in the 14th minute through new boy Charlses N'Zogbia. The former Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic winger arrived earlier this morning for £14,000,000 and jumped straight into the starting line up ahead of Monday's hero Jose Sosa. The winger didn't disappoint as his scuffed shot slid under Tim Howard to give Tottenham the lead. The Frenchman starting his debut with an all important goal against slight favourites Everton...

N'Zogbia Scores On Dream Debut

And soon before the second half, English right midfielder David Bentley scored the second with a glancing header which accurately landed into the far post. The midfielder answering his critics with his third goal of the new league campaign.

Bentley Celebrates Second

Everton did pressurize but despite having the more chances, the Merseysiders shamefully didn't score.

Lacklustre Everton Firing Blanks...

Sparky revealed his delight especially at David bentley by saying: "The Man of The match went to Gomes, no arguments. But Bentley is the man to be at the moment. He faced a lot of scrutiny and he was also on his way out of White Hart Lane. But recent form has seen him establish himself into the first XI and I can now say that he is not going anywhere at any price"

Tottenham moved up to sixth place, a place where Sparky has claimed he intends on finishing come the end of the season.

Scholes Joins. Squad Complete "For Now"

England and Manchester United legend Paul Scholes followed Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo and left Manchester United to join Real Madrid.

He told SMTV ; Well once Cristiano and Wayne left i knew it was the start of something terrible at Manchester and i knew it was time to move on. When Real came in for me i didnt have a second thought in joining them. Im coming near to my career and a chance to join Real doesnt come around often and id be stupid to take up the offer. I was speaking to Wayne and Cristiano and they made my decision alot easier than it already was. I was going to join anyway but when they told me about the club. Well it didnt take long to decide to be honest. Im just excited to get started with my new team mates.

Internacional get Quality new boss :)

Internacional last Friday announced Ray Pauley as there new boss with immediate effect. The board felt the time was right for a change and installed a man they have long been impressed with.

"Although Pauley has few GC teams he has shown his class with Napoli in GC19 and to those forumers in the know he is a well respected manager"

Pauley had this to say:

" I am looking forward to the challenge, Brazil is a tough league but I believe I can achieve great things here and will be looking for steady rather than spectacular improvements, I will be cautious in the transfer market and will wait for all the managers in a new GC who generally play 10or so games then quit and hope to build my squad up later on in the seasons when prices are likely to be more realistic than some of the stupid retorts I have had to player bids, as the market seems as crazy and stupid as ever"

Internacional have made some forreys into the market securing the following players:

Madson- The LM joins from Santos for 5M and will be an integral part

Tomic- Young rising AM joins from Partizan for £800,000

Lodeiro-Urugary Superstar youngster joins for 1m+ 2 fringe players

Tomecak- Young Rb joins in a swap for Chiquino

Zich-Young Czech Gk joins for £175,000

Matei- Young Romanian Talent joins for £400,000

Aleksic-The Serb wonderkid joins for 3m+Sorondo+Gil

Players leaving the club include Lopez and Motta bringing in 4m

" I am very happy with the business done so far which are good deals based on a sound financial footing and there will be more changes throughout the season once the market becomes more realistic"

Internacional have opened the season well with 4 points from 2 games drawing 2-2 at Cruziero then beating mighty Palmeiras 2-0 at home.

Great Japanese talent, joins Dortmund!

340x.jpg

Yuto NAGATOMO, a 22 years old LB, decided to move to the next level of his career, coming from FC Tokyo to Borussia Dortmund for a 2.2 millions with Giovani Federico going the other way around.

The player expressed his joy of the transfer, and said that he won't let this chance go away.

General Gipsy sends Zidan out?

zidan-514.jpg

Rumors say that General Gipsy accepted an offer from Espanyol to Mohammad Zidan, the news say that Espanyol offered 2 players for Borussia for the Egyptian striker, as it seems that General Gipsy is a fan of Raul Tamudo, so he might want him included in that deal, still it will be some hours before we know everything.

Spartak Gamble On Toggs

After the walkout of previous manager Gary Townsend, Spartak officals quickly lined up a replacement in Toggs. The squad have endured a below par start in the league, and Toggs admits this season he will only battle for a SMFA Spot.

He does have the likes of Welliton, Bystrov, Plekitosa, Alex, Saenko, Pavlenko & Stranzl too work with though. Toggs is not expected too do any moves on the transfer market.
