In the following season of 2006/2007, he moved up to Milan's Primavera. In 2007/2008, he was loaned to Monza (Serie C1); where he made 14 appearances and scored 1 goal. In the following season of 2008/2009, Livorno (then at Serie signed him on a co-ownership deal with Milan; where he made only 2 appearances. In the later half of the season, he was loaned to Crotone (Serie C1); where he made 10 appearances. On 23rd June 2009, Milan bought back the full-ownership of Diniz; but within weeks on 8th July 2009, Diniz returned to Livorno on loan for season 2009/2010. International Career He has yet to feature for Brazil at any level. Future Prospect Livorno have returned to Serie A for season 2009/2010. So far in their transfer campaign, they have sold defenders Riccardo BONETTO and Emanuele TERRANOVA. Having only Dario KNEZEVIC returned from loan at Juventus, Diniz should have a chance to play more regularly. He only has Serie C and B experience, and at age 21, doesn't look too promising. However, it is hard to really judge. In Italy, players are gradually introduced into the game, not rushed. That's why there seem to be many late bloomers in Italian football. There are many examples, like Luca Toni and D'Agostino recently. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
