Re: The Npower Championship 2010/11 Season

Haha' date=' just the same as it is here really, but Sop pops up less :P

And that annoying Walshe guy never talks on there either :D

Anyway, yeah the look a like game. What a game it was, Quagmire and Albert Riera, my personal favourite :P[/quote']

lol thats a good shout.

I have to say James Perch (who is one of the ugliest human beings ive ever seen) looks alarmingly like the peperami man.

(not a racist comment btw)

Re: The Npower Championship 2010/11 Season

Looking forward to West Ham v Millwall

This derby will be unreal. I know from my own person experience that Millwall is a tough place to go' date=' for a start if you've ever seen "The Football Factory" you'll know you have to go through a tunnel to be escorted by police into the ground after getting off your train.

Not as bad as it used to be though, the trouble makers these days seem to "pretenders" although the actual trouble-makers do turn up for special occasions such as this one :P

I will have you know James Perch plays for Newcastle. Sadly, I wish this were not the case. He is worse than awful.

Wasn't even a first teamer at Forest when you signed him :P

Colin Calderwood is to blame for this. He kept telling Hughton to make bids for him and there was a bid rejected in the January window before he eventually signed in the summer. I am hoping he lasts long enough at Hibs to take Perch there! :P

Have a read of this:

swansea-stats-127628235.jpg

swansea-pass-completion-800587231.jpg

possession-averages-911144345.jpg

If you don't watch much Swansea or the Championship much' date=' such as Spam (who felt QPR were the best footballing side in the division, which is probably the opposite :P) this shows you what you need to know.[/quote']

You could argue that QPR are the best footballing side, depending on what your perception of "best football" is. It was the most effective, as they won the league comfortably, but does that make it the best? You only finished 3rd, so one could argue that yours isn't the best.

And it will all mean nothing if you can't beat Reading ;)

I'm pretty sure he was refering QPR to the best footballing side side in the division, in the sense of passing - mainly because of Taarbat, which is pretty silly.

As i said in the past, you can argue where not the best footballing side in the division (even though you'd be wrong) but you can't say that QPR are - with there hoofball football.

You don't like people disagreeing with you, do you?

Maybe someone will disagree and say Swansea aren't the best footballing side in the Championship. Is that not acceptable to you?

When you came to play us, you racked up loads and loads of passes by playing the ball between the back four and GK. If you did that a lot then you'd soon rack up hundreds of passes per game. It wouldn't make you an amazing passing side. I'm not denying that you're a great passing side, I'm just saying that people are allowed their own opinions, however you seem to prefer ramming your own opinion down their throats and telling them that theirs is wrong. What I've highlighted in bold backs that up.

If this is your position on footballing discussions then your opinion is invalid.

No-one's opinion can possibly be wrong, by definition.

Re: The Npower Championship 2010/11 Season

Anyone that fancies reading a football blog from a regular everyday fan, i've just set up my own "AllThingsAlbion" blog. The clues in the name, that most posts will be related to Brighton, however as the season comes nearer I will be posting entries regarding other teams in this league and reports and photos from our games as they come during the year.

Only posted one entry so far, but if you feel like a read about another team, here's the link: http://allthingsalbion.blogspot.com/

Happy reading :)

Kieran

If that's the case you might want to make it more obvious in future!
