Zauker 299
Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread Hi experts! I have a couple of questions about deals involving Portuguese players. In a competitive world I've got a some offers for W. Carvalho: Jovetic or Walcott or Welbeck for him. I know William is a better prospect in the long term, but I also need a good striker. My team has only a 90 now, the goalkeeper. I bought Danilo Pereira thinking he could be the next Carvalho but it looks like I have to wait a lot till he rises to 89 and maybe he will never be as good as him..what do you think? I also have another DM89 27 years old possibly stable plus Joao Mario and Adrien Silva... I have another offer about Cedric: Vermaelen+A.Traore+money...this is more interesting I think, but it's not easy to find good RB. Now I just have Fagner (87) and Esgaio and I could buy some stable 88.. I'm confused..what would you do considering it's a really competitive world?

He just needs to move to a bigger club and he has everything to establish himself as a quality player. Cédric is terrible defensively, how he's 89 rated is beyond me. Vermaelen is rubbish, but even if he drops - about time he does, too - I'd pick him and Adama Traoré (the Barça kid, right?). Danilo +1?Oliver Torres stay? Thanks No and yes imo. Damian 86
Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread Thanks Pedro for answering one of my Questions in my last post. I have a couple of new Questions : Can someone rank these Porto players, i can sign just three from unmanaged FortesHernani 84 Toze 84 Quintero 86 Ricardo Pereira 85 Otavinho 83 Can someone rank these CB´s about mid term ratings potential : Paulo Oliveira (Sporting) 87 Aderlan Santos (Braga) 87 Danilo Pereira (Maritimo) 85 Joao Schmidt 82 (Setubal loan from Sao Paulo) , is he a good player ? Will he stay in Portugal for another season and get a 84 rating maybe or will he return to Brasil in July ? Should i sell him now ? Any news on Keeper Magalhaes 83 (Braga) ? Will he sit on Monaco´s bench next season and not get a rating improvement ? He is my starting goalkeeper in most of my small teams, thanks to this thread. How good is Fortuna Wallace (83) Braga, loan to Monaco. The other manager asks for a high sum, should i buy him ? Oh, thats a lot of Questions, many thanks for your help. As for the others (in terms of potential): 1 - Quintero 2 - Hernâni 3 - Tozé 4 - Ricardo I don't know enough about Schmidt, sorry! Danilo Pereira is mostly a DM, mate. He's promising tho. Aderlan is Braga's best player right now and atm I rate him higher than Paulo Oliveira. But Paulo has more potential and should already be the Portuguese NT's 3rd CB, behind Pepe and José Fonte. I have mixed feelings about Matheus: he has tremendous reflexes, he's good in 1 on 1 situations and is a good penalty stopper. But his footwork needs a lot of improvement. He also needs to make better decisions. I believe those aspects can be improved with time. Monaco will be in Europe + Ligue 1 + cup and league cup. Even if Matheus ain't a starter at the beginning, he should get some game time and maybe gain the number 1 spot. Wallace is at Braga, but I don't have enough info on him. Unlike Danilo Barbosa and Matheus, I didn't have the opportunity to watch Wallace regularly. Damian
Damian 86
Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread Thanks Pedro for the answers, that was really quick another Question about Estoril : Leo Bonatini 80 Anderson Esiti 80 both just rose to 80 and they seem to be not really first team regulars, playing about half the matches according to soccerway. Is it time to sell and buy other players who are first team regulars or do you see something special in them ? Estoril seems to be a mid table club now, pretty far from the european places. Which is not very good for player ratings i guess. Thanks in Advance.

eos11 1,899
Rui Pedro is the best striker from his age and will be one of the future competitors for the spot in the national team.
