Sergio Tejera Rodriguez is young talented Spanish midfielder who currently play for Real Mallorca. Before played for Mallorca, Tejera play for Chelsea FC

Tejera, born on 28th May 1990 began his football career at academy of CF Damm before signed by Espanyol in 2001. He spent 5 years with Espanyol youth team. One day,he's included in Spain squad who participated in U15 competition in Tenerife. Frank Arnesen watch him live and finally sign Tejera at March 20th,2006 beaten Manchester United,Tottenham, Real Madrid and Barcelona who also want his service

Tejera has very good left foot. He came over as left winger or attacking midfielder with a slender frame and noticeable lack of strength. It took some time to assert himself enough physically to make impacts on the game, but when he given time, he has great vision and do special thing, like wonder goal that he scored against Southampton. He also proved himself as set piece master at Chelsea, being constant threat from free kicks

He's compared with Fabregas due his great pass and vision on the game. At 2007/2008 season, saw a bit of change for his position. He's given a deeper role as central midfielder, similar to Fabregas role. It's big gamble based on his physical appeareance, but turned out to be one of the best decision that Chelsea academy staff have made. From deeper role, he can get ball more and distribute it constantly, make constant effect for the game, and combined with his growing physical development. He absolutely starred in the run to FA Youth Cup Final and was Chelsea's best player at Final

At 2008/2009 season, Tejera began the season well, impressed with reserves team and play outstanding when train with 1st team. Injuries then ruled out him for spell before in January he back to Spain to join Mallorca on loan. In the end of season, Mallorca signed him permanently for next 4 years

Tejera was in Spain team who become runner up in 2007 U17 World Cup, in same team with Bojan Krkic and Fran Merida. He's played for Spain NT since U15, U17 until U18

Tejera will join with Mallorca first team in pre-season this year. With his big potential and big expectation for him, i think he'll play at senior level this time
