This is a post coming from a Barnsley ST holder. After watching this guy in the latter of last season and four of our pre-season games, he is definatly going to be pushing for a regular place this coming season.

His performance in our 1-1 draw with a £129m rated Manchester city in the final of our friendlies (*note he was awarded MOM) was outstanding and has earned himself a place in the starting line vs Sheff Wed tomorrow.

Barnsley are currently without an attacking midfielder and we have turned our attention away from buying one because of this guys pre-season form.

This is the season you need to snap him up, or at least shortlist him because i feel he may have a rise on the way as Barnsley's first teamers average around 81. At 10k, hes a risk worth taking.

I would also expect Rueban Noble-Lazarus to feature in more games this term as he too has played well in all pre-season games he's played. With the introduction of the 7 subs rule, he will no doubt feature on the bench for the best part of the season.

Other Barnsley risers

Daniel Bogdanovic - will reach 81 next changes, a name to look out for....

Re: Jacob Butterfield - 10k

5 starts in the league with 1 goal

1 start in the League Cup

According to the Barnsley website the is a defender however.

Whenever he's played this season, he's played CM. Not an amazing player, but a decent talent and should be in for a half-decent rise. Early prediction of a +7 rise ---> 77, but that could change, for better or worse, by the time the changes come around. Seems to be in and out of the side at the minute.

Looks a decent prospect, but the signing of Emil Hallferdsson has curtailed his game time somewhat. He should still rise to about 76/77 I think.

Daniel BOGDANOVIC mentioned earlier in this thread is now Barnsley's top scorer and seems to have forced his way into Mark Robin's starting line up at the expense of Iain Hume and Andy Gray. Good finisher who should rise 78 to 81/82. Handy for smaller teams where wages are an issue.
