Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

Yeah me' date=' did you see Bailey and Bolt in the last heat of round 2 in the 100m? haha that was class.

Chambers looks good and so does Tyson G@y Tomorrow will be class :D[/quote']

Bolt & Bailey = Amazing

A shame Yohan Blake ain't here, he's up there with Bailey. Also Chambers is gonna have to work hard to get to the finals but i think he will make it.

He'll make it. Bolt will win it, with G@y or Bailey coming 2nd or 3rd.

Powell wont make the medals he doesn't performance in finals too well. I can see Bailey maybe just maybe pipping G@y but I think it'll be 1. Bolt 2. G@y 3. Bailey..

Bailey is a really good sprinter (my favourite, along with Chambers)..

The whole field will be class in the final, im excited :D

Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

Bolt Vs Powell Vs ***

even though i know bolt will win i think one of them will challenge him espically if *** can get half a decent start and Powell left a lot in the tank and i think the occassion of the event hasnt got to him for the first time ever id go with this order

1.Bolt

2.Powell

3.***

The 100m final will be class.

I can see Powell fall under the pressure again. Daniel Bailey will definately be up there!! Hes got a good chance of a medal.

Really hope Dwanye Chambers does well. Im happy for him!! :D

i agree about chambers for him if he can improve and get under 10 seconds for the first time this season i think thatd be great for him and that may be enough to get into the top 5

Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

The times get faster and faster every few years. How do they do it? How long for 9.5 to be broken. It seems that there are always going to be people that can smash the records in any Athletic event. Can any record never be broken, or will it be overhauled over some time? My mind boggles, as all records seem to be beat at some stage.

they say records are there to be broken.... i have to say if bolt can get anywhere near 9.50 which i think he can before the end of his career then i think it would take a good 20 years to beat it

Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

9.58 into a headwind. F me. He is in another world. USA gets a new record at 9.71, but second place is nowhere. And he is not in the shape of 2008 I hear after a car accident and whatever. That's amazing. 9.4 will go soon enough. Remember the days of 9.9.

i feel *** can get better and maybe perhaps get to 9.65 but no better than that and he will never catch bolt and well done to chambers who got a seasons best of 10.00

G@y ran really well and his time was class 9.71 and Powell in third was a great time too 9.84 or something.

That was amazing. I'm happy for Chambers with his Season best :D

Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

I'm still shaking my head haha Usain Bolt what a badman.

Tyson ran a national record and was still nowhere near, its just unbelievable.

Bolt will run 9.4 like he says he can at some point.

He's still only 22 and people have only heard about him for a year and a bit and he's done everything possible haha hes my idol seriously.

And they say chicken nuggets are bad for ya!

Yohan Blake & Dexter Lee.. will be the future!

Watch out for them Blake is only 19 i think and has a time of 9.93 and he will improve! A shame he couldnt make these championships.

Re: World IAAF Athletic Championships Berlin

Seeing as there is now a thread for Bolt's world record, i'll take this back to the other events in the championships.

So where we're we? oh yeah, Jessica Ennis & Louise Hazel - a couple of foxes or what!!

I think i'm gonna try to become a heptathlon groupie.

Jessica Ennis is HOTTTT! :P

Bolt has still got the relay and 200m to come, so they'll probably break the record for both of them too :D
