Manager Scott says the lost against Manchester United will be one of the few if not the only loss this season. He says with top class players being sideline the depth of the team was being tested but he hails the players for their fighting spirit against the Red Devils. We will easily beat Everton in the CUP fixture today and move on to the second round.

Tamburro Tells Scott 'Be Carefull'

Today' date=' Manager Of Real Madrid, Tamburro, Has Told Manager Scott To 'Be Carefull' And Not To Be So 'Cockey'.

Tamburro Said He Would Win His First Game (But He Didnt), And Said He Would Win The Youth Cup (But He Wont Probably Go Through).

Tamburro Said "If I Was Scott, I Wouldnt Under Estimate This League. Teams Like Fulham, Everton, Villa And Birmingham Will Play Better Against Top Teams So They Will Get Recognised And Make A Name For Themselves.[/center']

Manager Scott says thanks for the warning but I am not Tom Tamburro. I think we are two completely different type of managers and we both do things totally different and he needs to be reminded that he has the best squad in the league and he is under pressure to do well. For a team of that quality he really shouldn't be at 7th but I'm sure he knows what he is doing

Re: World Football Domination Official Transfer News/Club News Thread

Getting back on track with the cup, I think this represents the final group standings:

Ajax 9 points (Another Draw but Another Side w/23+ year old players)

Athletico Madrid 6 points (Close Victory Over Barca Means They Advance)

Barcelona 3 points (Good Match, but not the result needed)

Manchester United 0 points (Managerial disfunction resulted in failure)

The Other Group:

Chelsea 5 points (Gain 3 points vs Arsenal, who are under new management)

Liverpool 4 Points (Last Match Nullified Because Real Madrid and Liverpool both played 23+)

Arsenal 3 Points (New Management, Played Senior Side in Friendly)

Real Madrid 2 Points (Finish bottom of group, strangely played Senior Side in Friendly?)

So, making it the Semi Finals in Group 1 are Ajax and Athletico Madrid, who played largely by the rules. Group 2 is alot more convoluted however. Chelsea make it through as group winners, but the 2nd and 3rd seed in Group 2 are either unmanaged or under new management. As such, Real Madrid is the only side with a manager who actually signed up for the Youth Cup, and thus makes it to the Semi Finals as well. Strange, but that's the only way I see it working.

So Semi Final Fixtures:

Ajax vs. Real Madrid (Seed 1 vs. Seed 2)

Chelsea vs. Athletico Madrid (Once Again, Seed 1 vs. Seed 2)

I'll leave it up to bcfc12345 to decide the date.

Match Report

Real Madrid 0-3 Atletico Madrid

Raul Garcia 7'

J.Varga 16'

Zambrano 62'

Young Atletico Trashed 'The Galacti-Loss'

The new era of Real Madrid were favourites to take all three point

against their arch-rival Atletico Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu.

With Ronaldo, Kaka, Albiol, Xabi, and Robben on the pitch,

most expert were already write Atletico off.

However, it was the visitor who took the lead when highly rated midfielder,

Raul Garcia heads the in-swinging corner into the net after 7 minutes.

Nine minutes later, the wonderkid, Jozsef Varga head powerfully past

Spain first choice goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

The third goal was totally deserved for Kaito’s side.

After a brilliant movements showed by the visitor,

debutant Carlos Zambrano finished the chance with ease in 62 minutes.

It was a frustrating night for the home side. Atletico were the

dominant force in the second 45 minutes and enjoyed the majority of

possession and territory.

Atletico’s master of tactician said after the game “It was very

entertaining match and ofcourse a frustrating for them.

We weren’t expected this kind of performance from them.

Sergio ( Asenjo) rarely been tested throughout the game.

That (poor performance)is probably down to the poor tactic by

their manager,Tom. An overated manager. To me,

he's an average manager nothing special".

Real Madrid Sign Wayne Rooney

Real Madrid Have Today Signed Wayne Rooney In A Deal Which Moves Van Nistel Rooy And Raul Away From Real Madrid.

When Tom Tamburro Said He Needs A Goal Scorer, No One Expected Him To Buy The Worlds Best Striker.

All The Critics Who Have Said Real Madrid Will Go Down Because Of Thier Bad Form, Well They Are Wrong. I Can See Real Madrid Not Only Staying Up, But Also Going To Win The Title.

Ajax's Season Thus-Far

The League

Although the League has been playing a sort of secondary role during the early part of this season due to the youth cup, promotion is one of the biggest goals of Ajax this year, and thus the board and manager have been both careful not to let the excitement of the youth cup distract them from the quest to become league champions.

Ajax started their season in excellent fashion with a 4-1 victory over Bordeaux, but were quickly brought down to Earth by a strong Sporting CP side that routed Ajax's youth side by a 4-1 margin. After this, Ajax regrouped and drew with Boca Juniors, before overcoming a strong Valencia side by a slim 3-2 margin.

They currently sit in 4th place in the league, behind Totteham, Everton, and Sporting CP.

The Youth Cup

The main event of the early season, Ajax's stars of the future have had a great deal of exposure on the international club level, and have had a relatively good amount of success. Captained by enigmatic future superstar Luis Suarez, Ajax have been able to record three 3-0 default victories in all three of their group matches to make it to the semifinals with a total of 9 points and a goal differential of nine.

However, with the semi-finals being against powerful and dangerous Real Madrid, coach Al-Hendy knows he will have to train diligently and devise strong tactics to help his side overcome the gap in talent, but believes in the will and power of his side.

The League Cup & Transfers

Unfortunately for Ajax, they made an early exit to Chelsea in round 1, with an 83rd minute Sturridge goal being the only goal of the match. Al-Hendy however was not too concerned about this, saying that the league cup wasnt an item on the board's agenda for this year anyway, with the youth cup and league being the two major priorities.

In term of transfers, Ajax, being the small club they are, have only made one major signing thus far, this being former Hertha BSC striker Marko Pantelic. He has thus far proved to be a good strike partner to Luis Suarez, and everyone at Ajax is hoping his transition continues to be a smooth and successful one.

Also, Ajax was able to secure three top quality Madrid players on loan at the beginning of the season, these being Van Der Vaart, Negrado, and Metzelder. Van Der Vaart slotted excellently in the midfield of Ajax, but after seeing his super performances for Ajax, the Real Madrid manager realized Van Der Vaart's value and recalled him to the Real Madrid first team.

Seeing as Van Der Vaart was headed back home, coach Al-Hendy decided to send Negrado with him. Negrado, despite being a quality player and having already scored a goal for Ajax in the league, was seen by coach Al-Hendy as playing the exact same role as that of Marko Pantelic, and Al-Hendy did not wish to play Pantelic and Negrado alongside each other as that would displace Luis Suarez and Cvitanich. Now, with Negrado back in Madrid, Cvitanich can take up his bench role, and Suarez can re-enter the Ajax starting eleven.

-----------

Ajax now have a league game coming up against Shaktar, and will be looking to continue on the good form of their last game. Check back for our Post-Game Match Report!
