Ajax unable to take all three points as Shaktar hold on for draw.

Shaktar 1, Ajax 1

Ajax travelled to Donetsk's Donbass Arena looking to take all three points from the team sitting at the bottom of the table, and who had lost all of their league matches coming into today's game. However, Ajax knew very well never to underestimate the underdog, having been cast in that role quite often this season versus many of the giants of Europe such as Manchester United, Athletico Madrid, and Barcelona.

The game began in a balanced manner for both teams, but it was Rasmus Lindgren who broke the deadlock for Ajax with a cheeky toe-poked finish in the 16th minute. Ajax immediately chased the second so as seal the game and exert their dominance, but despite good ball posession, it was Shaktar who quickly replied in the 27th minute to equalise. The game returned to its original balanced flow as both sides had good chances to go ahead, but neither could capitalize before the break.

After the break, the pace of the game remained very fast. Shaktar hit the crossbar on two occasions, while Ajax's Marko Pantelic had one of his shots cleared off the line. For Ajax, Pyatov was a brick wall, and with the multiple spectacular saves he made in both haves, he willed Shaktar to their first point at home.

In a game of many shots but few goals, it was Lindgren who earned the MotM award for his strong performance for Ajax in defense and offense.

49_front_small.gifBarcelona 3-0 Man Utd 300_front_small.gif

Barcelona yesterday won there 3rd game of the season and moved to 3rd in the table with a 3-0 over Man Utd. Manager Jacko said he was very pleased with the result and said his team totally deserved the win. He also said his teams passing was exceptional and it showed with Barca having 62% of the possession. It was actually goal less at half time so all the action came in the second half. Ya Ya Toure got the opener on 56 minuites thumping the ball past veteren keeper Van Der Sar and then 6 minuites later Van Der Sar let the ball squirm under his body from Ibrahimovic's shot to give Barca there second goal. Keita completed the rout on 77 minuites turning the ball home from a cross.

Man City, Athletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Liverpool also picked up a win so there was no draws in division 1 at all. Inter Milan slipped to there first defeat of the season and Milans loss was only ther second loss. Arsenal still yet to get a point in the league after 6 games of the season.

Real Madrid get another win under thier belt, and it looks as though that Tom Tamburro's formation is working well.

The game started as if it wasnt going to be Madrids day as Zarate had a shot which hit his own player and caused the ball to go in the back of the net only 4 minutes in the game.

But, half an hour later, A brilliant ball to Kaka and the player easily took it around the keeper and slotted it home nicely.

But, Real Madrid were going for the win, and just before half time, Benzema chipped the keeper, and the ball rolled into the net.

Nothing happend in the second half because Real Madrid help the ball well, and took the pace out of the game.

The game moves Real Madrid up to 4th, with the same points as Barcelona who sit in 3rd. Even though Barcelona has let one more goal in, They have also scored an extra goal.

In Division 2 Sevilla and Bayern Munich top the table with some good resutls.

Division 3 team Ajax are doing well against some wearthy opponents, and as moved up to second.

Can people who are in the youth cup still who are Ajax, Real Madrid, Chelsea And Atletico Madird Please Use These Dates For Semi Finals.

Ajax V Real Madrid

Chelsea V Athletico Madrid

Please Offer These Dates For The 16th Sepember

Liverpool 0-4 Real Madrid

Real Madrid moved up to 3rd in an exciting game today.

First, Benzema, The future king of Madrid, Fired home a curling shot from within 30 yards out, That goal will stay with him forever.

Then, Sergio Ramos made it 2-0. A brilliant ball was met by his head which flew helplessly into the top corner.

Then, Robben scored his third goal of the season to give Real Madrid a 3-0 lead. He leaped high and headed a home.

But, At half time, Tom Tamburro subbed Benzema off and bourght on new man Jermaine Defoe. This deicision was a good one, As he hit a proudfull shot into the bottom corner. So, Again, another signing from Mr Tamburro scored on his debut, And its money worth while.

Re: World Football Domination Official Transfer News/Club News Thread

It appears Chelsea and whoever the other team was (Athletico right?) didn't play today. What happens now? A double forfeit would be cool with me lol

EDIT: Never mind, it appears they played alot earlier, back on the 9th. So I guess the final is me v. Athleti?

DOUBLE EDIT: Never mind again, it appears Athleti played their full lineup, so Chelsea v. Me then?
