I had it pit it to me that the reading boss agreed through PM to sell Naldo to Preston for £11m plus Jagalka (cannot spell his name for the life of me!) Then preston made a bid of exsactly that, and reading countered with a different deal. I dropped the reading boss a PM urging him to stick to his word and he thankfully did, and changed his mind. Although, now the deal is different  anywhoo, that's it :)

its in the sm code of conduct, (and you can be suspended), that if you agree a deal through pm then you cant go back on it.

The reasoning being it is unethical and the other manager may be relying on the deal.

Apparently SM say not, despite me literally spelling it out. Anyway it's settled, I'm getting Naldo, and not fussed who leaves, as long as they're a CB.

Look, the way I see it is like this: If the Conservatives can change their mind on a referendum regarding the EU Constitution (if we should be part of it or not) then we can change our minds during transfers, whether or not we gave our word on a particualr deal.

Sorry Dave im getting bored waiting for these results :D

Not sure where your going with that Paul ?, your talking to a guy that would gladly take us out of Europe tomorrow? In fact I’m all for reasserting the Plantagenet claims to the Northern France mate….and that’s just for starters, anyhow regardless of that if you do a deal you stick to it, thats the rules right?
