Phil (GT) 9,208
Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009 Phil' date='Would Christian Gentner keep the CM?[/quote'] He's played pretty much every game for Wolfsburg as a LM. So that should be his primary position. Not sure about his secondary position, he's also played RM a few times last season, but played as a CM for Germany in his 3 games so far. My personal guess would be a LM/RM, but LM/CM is also a possibility.

tebthereb 3,129
Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009 I am sure if you allow more than 22 minutes some info will come along. My opinion is that his rating is OK, he has been scoring quite a few lately so his rating should be safe. I think there are better strikers to spend £20m on though - loads of suggestions elsewhere on the forum.

Well, Beck has a good chance of an 89 and Castro should stay at a solid 90. Corluka I'm not so sure about; heard he's been a bit shaky lately but you'll have to ask someone who watches Spurs week in and out. On the topic of Kiessling.. he should have a good chance of getting that 91. I think he just might.

Bundesliga players tomorrow, the majority of the 2. Bundesliga Thursday and Friday, probably 1-2 bottom of clubs of 1.Bundesliga on Friday and Saturday (you know they go at an even slower pace with big leagues...), take Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off from updating, and finish off Wednesday and Thursday. I'm considering a bid for Mario Gomez - but after a decent start I see he's now not playing? I don't know a lot about the situation. How do you see it affecting his rating - is there a real risk of a drop? Long term, will he be a success or is he not going to get the gametime? Cheers, OUAT

Cheers, OUAT [/quote'] Tbh, I don't understand why he's not playing. He's started the season well with a good scoring record, but after Toni's return he often only sat on the bench. I could have understood if it was only for 2 or 3 games to see if Toni works better, but so far Toni has been rather bad (I'd say he's been horrible, but then you may say again that's because I hate Italian footballers). Of course, Gomez is a player who doesn't have a 100% efficiency, but he stands so often exactly where he has to it's unreal. Compared to Toni, who you don't see for a whole game, until he suddenly has a great chance, but the difference compared to his first season, he doesn't score a goal from it now. Maybe you could wait until you purchase Gomez (to see if he drops, which I highly doubt though) if you think he won't be snapped up by then, but if you fear there might be someone else who could snap him away before you, go ahead with it. He certainly is the most talented German striker, it's just sad to see the Euros runner-up and 3rd of the WC seem to be capped at 93... Once_Upon_A_Tyne
