Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Piked up Lucas SCHMITZ in GC74 for £900' date='000. Fairly happy with that as he has become a regular for Schalke this season at 75 rated, any rating predictions please?

Seen 77/78 but surely higher now?[/quote']

I doubt it. He was only recently added. Schieber reached only 80 (although I'm currently thinking about sending a ticket as well tomorrow), and that after being a starter in the 3. Liga for a long time and now regularly playing ahead of a fit 91 rated striker, as well as scoring more goals than him... while Schmitz only plays because Schalke are lacking decent midfielders atm (Jones & Mineiro injured, Westermann playing in defense again)...

If he still plays regularly once everybody is fit, he could rise again in the changes after, but at this stage, I highly doubt it.

If he keeps on playing until the end of the season (which looks likely IMO), he can be a 86/87 by then. I doubt he'll go much higher than that though at Hannover, but I can't see him breaking through at a better team either, it's probably best for him to stay at Hannover where he's highly regarded by staff and fans.

Is Moritz prefered to Schmitz ?

I think he is. Not only that the stats speak for Moritz, from the 2 - 2 1/2 games I've seen so far with Schalke he's looked better in my eyes well.

On a side note: Another name that was recently thrown in by Magath again is Danny Latza, when he said that if Latza wasn't injured at the beginning of the season he migt have been preferred over Moritz & Schmitz.

Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Is Bunjaku a good signing? I have noticed him get some games and goals lately for Nurnberg. And he is highly rated on Kicker. Same goes for Banovic, will he rise by about 3?

I have another question, is Farfan going to keep his position, or is he more of a forward? I ask because I need wingers but not another forward. And has he a shout to rise to 92?

I noticed Celozzi and Trasch are on 85. Trasch has played a lot more than Celozzi, should Trasch be kept? Also is Schieber's rating a little low considering all the starts he has made for Stuggart. I mean if someone got less than that at United or Barcelona they would shoot up to 84 or something.

I personally rate Träsch much higher than Celozzi. I cannot understand, why SM rates both on 85. I guess, if he would not have had that bad luck with injuries, he could (and should) have reached 87. At least 86.

And Celozzi is ATM with 85 a bit overrated. Should be a 84.

Schieber is another rating I don't agree with. Only to 80. But as Phil already posted he is thinking about submitting a ticket because of this.

Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Does anyone know if Addy-Waku Menga of Werder Bremen will rise or fall? I think has played 16 times so far this season scoring 2 goal? :)

By the way exellent thread!

He's rather going to drop. He hasn't played for Werder Bremen, but for their reserves in the 3. Liga. And he isn't really a stand-out player there either. I'd say 77 is most likely, if not even less.

Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Is Kahlenberg in for a drop Phil? I know he is getting little playing time at Wolfsburg but I keep noticing on the GC 74 and 75 threads people saying stuff like "I bought Kahlenberg today and he should be 89/90 by the end of the week!"

The they must be some weirdos:p

anyway he's only played one match so far this season for Wolfsburg' date=' he's gonna drop for sure.[/b']

Thanks Mate, that's a relief! I was pretty sure he was going to drop but was getting worried I'd just got rid of a good riser in GC 74!

I don't understand why so many people have got it into their head's that Kahlenberg is in for a rise!:confused::eek::confused:

For now, a drop is more likely than a rise. Both the AM and the LM spot are taken by Misimovic and Gentner respectively, but now that he's back from injury, he could be someone for the RM spot, I'm not a big fan of Hasebe, Dejagah has been disappotining, and Riether is back playing RB. I'd say there's a 30-40% chance that he will drop, but if he can establish himself in Woflsburg's midfield, a +1 might be possible in the next changes.

Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Some decent changes for Werder Bremen but I cant understand why Clemens FRITZ dropped?

He played 17 games this season and has 1 assist 11 league games and Bremen is siting in second?

all the other changes cant complain about well maybe for PIZARRO but we know sm don't like upgrading old players

Re: Bundesliga Risers, Talents and Droppers 2009

Section 4 is done now i think Candyman,I am a bit dissapointed in Badstuber and Mullers ratings as i thought at least one of them would get 86 however perhaps SM are just been cautious and give them 85 instead,I thought Kenia would have enough minutes to rise higher than the 82 you predicted phil but he clearly didnt so oh well,Still Ozil went to 90 and Elia to 89 so im happy:).

It was obvious they would get 85 as Sm rarely give +6 +7s with a youngster. Dissappointed that Misimovic didn't rise.
