Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

i'm not sure about this, but i think there is a possibility that gerrard will get the drop.

he hasn't been good at all this season, along with all the injuries and pool's poor form. But even when we won yesterday, apart from the buildup to the second goal, gerrard was probably one of the worse players in red. He was lazy and unwilling to run.

there is no doubting his talent and importance to us, but he hasn't been himself lately.

Perhaps because he's carrying an injury. Steven Gerrard will not drop. Skrtel and Carragher probably both will drop by 1, Insua to 88, Johnson to 91, Benny Noon to 91, Ngog to 86 and Reina may have a chance of a 94.

Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

Reina 93 - 94 (best keeper in england, better than cech)

Caveleiri 87- Stay

Insua 83-88 (Liverpools first choise right back now)

Aurelio 91-stay

Dossenna 89-88 -1 (Not played)

Agger 89-90 +1 (If stays fit, will rise further)

Carragher 94-93-1 (not been as good as in previous seasons)

Skrtel 92- Stay

Kyriagos 88-Stay

Ayala 75-

Degen 87-86 -1 (not played)

Johnson 89-92 +3 (Been imense for LFC since he signed and if you compare him to other full backs of 92 he is at least as good if not better for example 'Sagna' )

Lucas 88-89 +1 (done ok this season)

Gerrard 97-Stay

Mascherano 94-+1 (best defence mid in the world bosses liverpools midfield in gerrards absence)

Aquilani 90-Stay

Spearing 75-77 +2 (played a couple of games for LFC)

Kuyt 92- Stay

Reira 91-Stay

Babel 89-Stay -1 (not played alot but still a real talent)

Benayoun 89-91 +2 been best player for LFC in 2009 would say deserves more but SM realistically wont do it

N Gog 82-87 (Preformed well and scored in torres's absence)

Torres 96-97 (In my oppinion the best striker in the world)

Voronin 89-87 (Even pacheco is above him in liverpools pecking order)

i like liverpool m8 but i dont think any liverpool player deserves a rise apart from insua and johnsonand ngog, maybe benayoun, they have had a very poor season so far imo and as much as i like torres every time he plays with spain,he comes back injured!

Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

Just for a bit of fun heres my take Im quite confident in these predictions:

Reina 93-Stay been brilliant would go to 94 but for our poor form

Cavelieri 87- Stay been good enough in cup games

Insua 83-87 Consistant performer thou not top drawer

Aurelio 91-90 injured not been at his best

Dossena 89-88 not played simple as

Krgyiakos 88- Stay cant really justify a change either way

Agger 89- Stay gd defener just needs to steer clear of injuries to be a 90+

Skrtel 92- Stay borderline but wil give him benefit of the doubt

Carra 94-93 not as good as he has been in the past 4years

Johnson 89-91 thought long+ hard with gr8 club+regular internationals

Degen 87-86 bit part player

Lucas 88-89 not my fav player but done enough to warrant a rise

Mascherano 94-Stay still a top performer

Gerrard 97- Stay Captain fantastic will be back to his best soon enough

Aquilani 90-89 long time without football

Spearing 75-78 the odd appearence justifies a small rise

Riera 91-90 not one enough to keep his current rating

benayoun 89-90 one of our best players over last year

Babel 89-88 Infrequent and uninspiring displays

Kuyt 92- Stay not as good as he has been but dont deserve a drop

El Zhar 83- Stay odd appearence

Voronin 89-88 really poor but had a decent time at hertha last year

Torres 96- Stay best striker in the world IMO

N'Gog 83-86 been doing a fair job at impossible task to cover El Nino

Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

How did Lucas not rise but Babel kept his 89? I dont get it

disappointed to see Carragher and Skrtel drop though

I think Carra and Sktel dropping was inevitable after out poor start, however I'm shocked and appauled that Lucas didn't rise and surprised that Babel didn't drop. I just can't think why Lucas didn't rise. How on Earth can Denilson be rated above him

Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

Hey I'm new to the forum, but not to Soccermanager.

Anyways the other day I took over a new Liverpool and logged on this morning to see ratings have changed for players, I understand we (Liverpool) have had a poor season so far but I feel ratings have been poor.

I agree with the improvement of Insua's rating to 88. I think Johnson should have been made 92 not 91 but still better than 89 atleast. Reina should have been put up to 94 atleast, Benayoun should have been put up to 91 but 90's an improvement on 89 I suppose. N'gog should have been put upto 88 not 86, he's only 20 and scoring himself a few goals at top level. Agger should have been put up, 89 is pathetic. He use to be 91 as I remember until his long injury but he's been class since coming back.

I agree with Riera's decrease to 90, Aurelio was quite harsh but he has been injured. Skrtel to 91 is fair, I'm actually suprised players like Kuyt haven't been decreased as he's been poor and also I'd like Mascherano to be put upto 95 soon as this rate.

Also why is Plessis still 78? He's played a handful of games for the first team and impressed whilst you got a few Arsenal youngsters who impress on debut and hit the 80's easy.

Does anyone agree with me? I admit Liverpool have been poor this season, but I feel they've been totally against in these latest ratings

Re: The Liverpool Ratings Analysis

i think carragher dropping was pretty harsh. he had a bad start but now has regined has is form.

if hes 93 rio should drop to 93 aswell for his poor form

no chance. rio should get a +2 over carragher just by playing for a better club.. :D. no chance of rio dropping though, he would have played but for his back injury affecting his performances.
