MAN CITY FACE TOUGH UKRANIAN TEST

After bringing the likes of Daniele De Rossi and Philipp Lahm to Eastlands, many have branded the Manchester City as Division 1 title favourites. One man keen to shoot those predictions down in flames was however, somewhat surprisingly, City manager Tom Rodwell.

"How can we be that highly thought of before anyone has played a minute of football? On paper, we have a great team, I won't deny that. But as many have said before, football isn't played on paper. Anything can happen and that's why it's such a loved game." Rodwell claimed.

Rodwell expressed his excitement at his side's potential, but at the same time said tonight's match would be one of their surprise tests.

"Players like Ade, Tevez and Robinho are all playing well. Philipp's still settling in here, but Daniele is a top drawer footballer and I know if we get everyone firing on all cylinders we can do well. Obviously though, I realise tonight's game is a really difficult one. Going to Ukraine and getting something is something that even England couldn't manage. 50,000 people at Spartak's ground will make it a tense place, so we can't expect to stroll in there and come out with a win."

Can Manchester City live up to their full potential and turn the ambition into glory?

Juventus face Bayern

Two teams who have fallen on hard times meet tonight in the best division 4 clash in the first round of fixtures as Juventus play Bayern in the Allianz Arena tonight in what could be a clash been two title contenders, Charlie Bird and Andrew Clifford have taken different approaches to management with Bayern selling players such as Ribery,Muller and Lahm and bringing in the likes of owen nani richards, poulsen and more high profile names, where as juventus have sold key men or loaned them out and replaced them with younger players that will rise like stanislas, mertens, kenia and derdiyok, and clifford feels his approach will pay off more in the long run saying " we will have low attendances this year considering some of the calibre of opponent we will be facing the lower wage bill was a must and im thinkinf of getting rid of some more big names to lower it further, it also means we will have more squad depth and a bigger transfer budget and not run the risk of debt"

Real Madrid vs Crvena Zvezda

RealMadrid.png

Real Madrid start the season off with an extremely tough match. Crvena Zvezda are one of the best teams in the world and Real Madrid will be lucky to win. With a team of; Casillas,Ramos,Pepe,Albiol,Marcelo,Xabi Alonso,Ribery,Kaka,Ronaldo,Benzema,Raul, it will be hard to dominate the game from start to finish. Alltough Real Madrid should clinch a small win of 20-0 over Crvena Zvezda but you never know.
