Guss Hiddink in interview

Minitues after Swindon manager KopStar (a.k.a Jared) exclamied that the title is set to be theirs,Guss Hiddink of Rochdale Decides to react to the news. The Dutch claimed that Swindon indeed are favourites,However,He Refuse to admit that the title race would be easy.

Heres what he said to the Rochdale TV Interview,

Well,You have to say,Swindon Are Title Favs, however,i got to disagree with KopStar,Apparently We,Rochdale, might pose a threat to them as we also have a decent team,So it is always not good to write us off so easily,Also its not just me,Theres Walsall Under Aaron C,Crewe Alexandra with agent wardii,Yeovil Town lead by Piers Duplock,League leaders Leyton Orient with t d,Carlisle United with Dean Bryant,Hartlepool United and their Young manager David Belkevitz,Nigel Womersley leading Notts CountyPaul Spencer Giving the Big talks at Bury,Experienced manager Jonathan Kroiter currently is in control of Dagenham & Redbridge, Bradford City and their Classy manager sean fitzpatrick Etc..You see there are so many teams out there fighting for a spot to win and I think It is going to be tough,Tough i am confident we can get some result and Of couse when we welcome Swindon Town 26 Dec,We arent going to let them take any points from us at Spotland.

Alan O'BRIEN is another one,Like Douglas,Guss Keen on getting in into his Team.

Today Dutch manager Guss Hiddink has revealed his Interest for Swindon Town's Alan O'BRIEN and Jonathan DOUGLAS and the Dutch also hinted that he is very keen on getting them and is hoping that Swindon town might do the double swap with him,Altough the offer might not be good but The dutch is still hoping that he can see the deal hgappening.

Heres what he has to say,

Jonathan DOUGLAS and Alan O'BRIEN are very good players,They play pretty well for Swindon and since Swindon is sort of a winning team,i am willing to get them,The deal might not be very attractive to them, however,it is for Me.I am very keen on getting them, with them in my team,I can have a deadly strike force.

Anything less than if we arent promoted it will be a failed season.

yeah good luck with that one ;)

Protracted transfer saga closed - Finally

And is smiles all round as Jordan Henderson wraps up his transfer to Leyton Orient as the third and final 'marquee' player.

"It seemed a shame we could blood him in the first game, but that didn't seem to effect the out come too much." The O's managed laughed, after their crushing 7-1 victory in the opening game. "After the little wrangle that developed im glad we could push this one over the line finally, theres no guarantee he'll be ready to go straight into the starting line up but he'll be in the squad, that i assure you. He gives us strength and trickery down the right hand side - something i felt we were lacking."

Thats certainly true, the only specialisted right midfielder they had was youth teamer Harry Baker. Cypriot Jason Demetriou played right wing in the first game but its thought he may move infield with goal scoring but transfer listed Adam Chamber the mostlikely to drop to the bench but with both he and John Melligan putting in good performances another theory is a change of formatino to pack the midfield, or push some of them further up the pitch.

"It's fair to say i havent come to a conclusion on what we'll be doing just yet, but im sure it will be a success."

Back on the transfer front two more bids have been received - a bid for Sean Thornton is being mulled over and star striker James Scowcroft has had a big bid put in for him by Swansea City. " We will be taking a look at both these offers although i cant guarantee any movement on either of them anytime soon, they are both players i rate highly and would be keen to keep. You'll just have to wait and see im afraid."

Asked to comment on Swindon Town Manager's bizarre outburst earlier Twisted had little to say; "It doesn't interest me really, each clubs business is their own and good luck to him. We'll do out talking on the pitch"

Yes our draw against Notts was disappointing but it shows the expectation and hype around the club. Bar the lat 15 minutes we were brilliant and if we can play most of our season like that we will win the title with ease.

Interesting view of the opening game. Notts shaded the posession, had more shots, more shots on goal and forced more corners as the away team! I think your propoganda is just pie in the sky.

I am hoping kop star accepts my proposal and really do the deal. However,It is really not a very good offer tough. If deals get accepted this is great for my team. :D

Also going to risk my 2nd External club player by buying GK Salvatore SIRIGU,Also anyone knows how much Marco D'ALESSANDRO would rise.

Very impressed with KopStar's Swindon's squad. :)

Derby game next against Bury.

SWINDON SELL TWO PLAYERS

1935_1228926097.jpg41847_1257525584.jpg1649_1228744186.jpg

Left to right: McNamee, Addae, McGovern

Swindon have started to cash in on some members of their squad with two players set to move clubs. Anthony McNamee, who has had questions over his future since KopStar was appointed as Swindon manager, will move up a division to play for Barnsley. A fee of 1.4million was agreed between the clubs.

Scottish winger John-Paul McGovern will move to Division 4 rivals Carlisle United for a fee of 450k. Both deals are subject to a medical and set to be completed soon.

News has also just come in that Swindon have had a bid accepted for Ghanian 16-year old Bright Addae. Addae plays in the Ghanian league for All Star FC. He also has represented his country at under 17's and more impressively under 20's level. He is seen as a player with a very Bright future. He will take up one of the three spots for free agents without a club on the database.

HANDS OFF OUR STARS!- KOPSTAR

Following Rochdale manager inicikirock's comments that he wants to sign Swindon' star players Jonathan Douglas and Alan O'Brien saying the following,
They are both great players that are am important part of our squad. Yes if the right offer comes in I will be forced to sell them but it'll take a huge wad of cash and maybe some good players in exchange for me to sell key players to rival clubs.

On Bright Addae, who is set to sign for the club in the next 24 hours, KopStar said this,
Bright is a huge talent. At 16 he already has under 20's experience. He is a big prospect and should have a very good future ahead of him.

He also confirmed the club could sign more players
We have a number of bids for current memebers of our squad and the money we make if we do sell will raise enough money to buy some more good players. I guess everyone will have to wait and see.

Carlisle seal McGovern deal

jonpaul_mcgovern1.jpg

Carlisle United have confirmed the signing of John-Paul McGovern from Swindon Town for a fee of £450k. The 29-year-old McGovern has signed a two-season contract with the Cumbrians and could feature in their league clash against Burton Albion. It is understood that Carlisle manager Dean Bryant has already stated he needs a right midfield for this season campaign and McGovern fits the bill.

"I'm delighted that McGovern has signed a contract with us," he told the club's website. "He has the experience and he will be a good addition to our small club. We are still looking to bring in more players and we currently offering trials to unattached players. I hope by the end of the trials, some of them could join us on permanent basis."

Welcome to the setup. I would say that this Division 4 challenge is a good way to give managers the real challenge, rather than making their own way by buying a lot of risers and some stars in the making like Pastore, Santon etc. They wouldn't even think of joining Division 4 league in real life! :P

Rochdale Signs 2nd External Club player

sirigu.jpg

Salvatore SIRIGU will take the No. 1 spot in between the sticks at Rochdale.

Following The club's Announcement of Marco D'ALESSANDRO being their 1st external player to be brought,Guss Hiddink is set to sign Italian Goalkeeper Salvatore SIRIGU from Palermo. The Keeper would be arrived for a fee belived to be around £900k with Kenny ARTHUR going the other way. Many is hoping that Guss could strengten the squad following news that Guss Hiddink and The Rochdale Team is trying very hard to convinced Swindon manager KopStar with the Proposal of the deal which would see Jonathan DOUGLAS and Alan O'BRIEN to move to Rochdale.

Heres what Guss Hiddink has to say about this news,

We are very happy that SIRIGU has joined us,We needed a good goalie and he could do that well for us.He has impressed at Palermo and we hope he can keep up the good work with us.Regarding the double deal with Swindon,I think kopStar might need some time to Think about it,Currently,me and my assitant is trying very hard to covince him to The deal,It may be tough, but i am willing to have a try.I am willing to let go of my best players to get them.

Is there such club like Eventon? lol. Please don't post reports about Everton. This thread is mainly for forumers who play for Division 4 clubs and part of the challenge.

Is there any rules on loans Kopstar?' date='Having read through the rules i understand everything but you do not mention loans so are we allowed them or not?[/quote']

* Can only loan players from the same division as your team (on the first post lol:p) i did offer a option of loans to managers in here previously but the vote was pretty one sided against it.
