Re: Ofifical SPL thread

My team Aberdeen were lucky yesterday to win 2-1 against st johnstone they had two shots cleared of the line but the ref was rubbish we played good stuff in the first and dersved our 1-0 half time lead. but then langfield went for a cross and was impeaded but the ref gave no foul and they scored and then we scored from a pen

Aberdeen 2-1 st johnstone

Aluko 15

craig 76

Miller 83

Re: Ofifical SPL thread

What do people think about Rangers and Celtic in the Premier League ?

personally no one in scotland is good enough for the Premier League and i believe they would just end up getting relegated.

But thats my views and im welcome to them !

but dont be shy to post yours ......

it will never happen but if they did and managed to hold on the 1st season they would do quite well both have huge fan base greater than most of the EPL teams and with the extra TV and sponsership money most likely extra kit sales they could pay bigger wages get better players and would chalange the top half/europa leauge places!

but it wont happen!

The only reason this idea has been suggested (With 2 leagues of 18), is the man suggesting it is Bolton's chairman and he doesn't want Bolton to be relegated as he's trying to make it that no-one outside the top 36 clubs will be aloud in or out of the league

will never happen, if it somehow does happen that it will be the start of the end of the english game with Spain, Italy and France laughing at the state of what was once the football capital of the world.

Re: Official SPL thread

Tottenham are ready to sell Robbie Keane to Celtic in January but want goalkeeper Artur Boruc as part of the deal.

West Ham hope to hijack Celtic's £2.5m swoop for Tours FC striker Olivier Giroud, who has also been targeted by Monaco, Toulouse, Valenciennes and Montpellier.

Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has ruled out a January swoop for Motherwell winger Jim O'Brien because the Dons cannot afford the £20,000 transfer fee, and instead hopes to sign the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international next summer
