Re: Official Arsenal Thread

We might of conceded late on, but shot was very much unstoppable from Perisic.

Sure Wenger would of taken a point before he flew out to Germany.

  • Draw at Dortmund/Marseille
  • Win at Home/Olympiacos

It may only be a point, fair result  but the performances of certain players are very promising.

Not really. Going ahead' date=' not putting another in, letting a goal in right near the end. Sounds pretty familiar to me.[/quote']

Pretty familiar yes, but familiar would of been letting them score after them scoring the equaliser.

Oh shut up, you tart.

First game of the group stages, away from home against the German Champions with a hostile atmospehere and with a new team, a draw was a very good result. What we were supposed to do with goal, i don't know. Perhaps the clown i've quoted can tell me? Defensively, we were brilliant. If the Chavs, Etihad or Man Ure put in that type of shift, people would say things like "stuff of champions". Yet when we put in a long, hard slog, it's all negativity . Personally, i'm proud of what we did tonight.

Hope Dortmund and Marseille trip over each other, two lovely score draws would be nice, while we pick the 6 up against Olympiacos!

Is it just me but Santos barely moved on the pitch ?

He shouldn't have put into a game so late in a game like this' date=' he never exactly had much to do anyway., start him against Shrewsbury to get him going :P

Re: Official Arsenal Thread

Great performance by the boys defensively. When is the last time that any of us can honestly say that Arsenal defended well?? Very impressed by Benayoun especially. Worked very hard when we were under the kosh and we need more hard-workers. Remember Liverpool 05' were not a very talented team but hard work won them the trophy. The goal was unstoppable but on the whole we got a good point. Another step on our road to recovery. :D

Also Kos and SZCZ were amazing. Really maturing into top class players. Szczesny especially.

Re: Official Arsenal Thread

Koscielny was every bit as good tonight as he was against Barcelona' date=' quite brilliant.[/quote']

^^^ Top Class ^^^ , one of his best performances .. I was really impressed with him ..

And to be honest , Gibbs wasn't bad himself .. I'm not saying he was really good but he done his job.

Other positives , Szczesny , Van Persie , Frimpong - TANK :)
