Re: Official Arsenal Thread

He seems to be the target at the moment but I would rather just have a fit RvP instead for the game cause Podolski has little experience in CL.

that matters for very little, as he has the big game experience which matters most. And from what I've seen that's when he's at his best.

Another question though is will Wenger finally spend?

Too far ' date=' way too far ! In fairness , they are not the team they used to be ! :)[/quote']

They have a quality CB in Silva though and Nesta is experienced so the attackers will have to be on top of their game. We will have Sagna and Wilshere back to strengthen our squad. We are on form but the game is going to be in 2 months yet and anything could happen like injured RvP or something. Just need to hope for the best. Our squad at full strength beats theirs though.

Re: Official Arsenal Thread

Milan will hate this draw. If there's one things Italian teams don't like, it's pace. Gervinho and Walcott, even Chamberlain, will make them poo in their pants. Ibra won't have Xavi to put things on a plate for him and Robinho is rubbish (against English sides). Their biggest threat is Boateng, he can produce something out of nothing. Not worried in the slightest.

P.S I'm only back because it's my birthday and decided to give you all a birthday present. I'll be gone again after the Etihad game.

Re: Official Arsenal Thread

Sure you're not thinking of Jesus Navas?

I might be but I am sure it's Llorente, there was a conversation about him I saw a couple of months ago about him moving to a bigger team but he can't leave his hometown or something like that.

I ain't too up to date with continental football.

Re: Official Arsenal Thread

Never heard of him being homesick' date=' are you not mistaking him with Navas?

Plus he does perform rather well for the Spain NT [/quote']

It must be Navas then, I can't understand why Llorente has not gone to a bigger team so, that was my explanation up until now.

Happy Birthday? :P

btw did we get drawn against if so that isn't so bad.

Milan may cause some trouble as they've got some decent firepower but other than that there not so much of a threat.
