Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis

Hi' date=' what makes you think Moya could rise?[/quote']

I think he has a shot at rising. he's been getting a few starts and is performing pretty well Imo with a Valencia side that are on form. and he's getting Europa League Football.

Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis

I thought he will rise:confused:

He started very poorly, and he still has a lot to work on, especially his defensive positioning. he has improved since the season started. but still nothing special from him yet. Imo opinion 88 is the right rating for him.

Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis

Valencia 2-3 Real Madrid

63291.jpg

The Game:

Real Madrid Edged Valencia at the Mestalla. Goals from Gonzalo Higuain, David Villa, Joaquin and Ezequiel Ensured a Real Madrid Victory.

Real Madrid played a weakened starting line-up, due to the Injury to Kaka and the suspension of Cristiano, with Rafael Van Der Vaart getting another start. As for Valencia, David Silva was being Replaced by Pablo Hernandez.

Valencia, with the thought that a win would make them level on points with their opponents in the table, started playing with confidence and they created the first real chance, as Jeremy Mathieu, saw his shot deflected behind. It was attack, attack and attack for Valencia. and Real Madrid were hardly non-existent in the opening few minutes.

Pablo Hernandez and Juan Mata were having a great start but Madrid's Defense was solid. However, as the match continued... Real Madrid began to attack more and gain confidence. as Karim Benzema shot just wide with just over 10 minutes left.

Later Madrid wasted a great chance as 'El Pipita' did well to dribble past the defense but went wide, and he soon had another shot on goal but that was saved well by Cesar. Then, Sergio Ramos headed the ball off the post.

Pepe then Injured himself while challenging Villa. And soon he was taken off, with Garay coming on to replace him just before half time.

The Second Half was still very close. then on 53 Minutes Benzema dribb;ed past Bruno on the left, and crossed in the ball which was brilliantly nodded by Higuain. The Goal Encouraged Real Madrid as they would go on to dominate the ball. Minutes later Mathieu crossed in a great cross, and Villa headed well.

Higuain then scored another great goal five minutes later. after some excellent work from Marcelo, who had 15 seconds of Messi type play and played Higuain in, and he finished cooly to Give Madrid the lead again.. Raul then Came on for Van Der Vaart and Juaqin replaced Navarro.

then just as Real Madrid thought they'd already won, Joaquin scored. Mathieu played the ball to Juaqin on the edge, and Juaqin Smashed it into the net.

Barca and Valencia fans were celebrating but then, Garay Amazingly headed Xabi Alonso's Free kick as Madrid were in the lead once more...

Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis

Pepe has been injured and a statement on RealMadrid.com reads:

Pepe fell to the turf on 44' and was carried off the pitch on a stretcher with tears in his eyes. The first examination has determined that he has suffered possible ligament damage to his right knee, but more tests are scheduled for Sunday.

the injury could take 3-7 months to heal and this could be the end of a season for one of the worlds best Center Backs! Huge Blow For Real Madrid! :( hopefully Garay could step up..

lmao 3-7 months, very precise prediction of time. :P:p

No, Im only joking, thats awful I hope he gets better soon as he's a really good player, and he might not get to the World Cup if it last 7 months.

it depends how serious it is, if its not that serious then 3-4 months but if its serious it can last for around 7 months :( would be a blow to Portugal if he misses out on the World Cup!

Who are Portugal's sub centre-backs??

they usually play with Carvalho/Bruno Alves - Pepe. their subs are Ricardo Costa and Rolando..

Does Paulo Ferreira even still play for Portugal???

That would be a real blow to the team.:(

he's in their squad, but doesn't play though and he is more of a full back anyway.

Yes, I know he's a full-back but I just wondered as he hasn't featured much for Chelski recently so I wondered whether they had dropped him.

Yea, he does deserve to be dropped.

Yea, you're thread's really good and no offence to Kensational but you're doing yours a lot faster than him.

His is good but I like to compare the two for some ratings just to check that there isn't any bias towards any certain team e.g Real Madrid(:P:p:p).:rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I was just wondering, about that player Munain or something, people have said that because of being on U-20 World Cup duty he won't go up as much as first predicted.

What is your opinion on him???

don't worry there's no bias! :P:p

Anyway Iker Muniain should go up to around 81 Imo, he's been doing well this season at just 16! being dubbed the "Spanish Wayne Rooney"! he's also set the record for youngest ever player to score in La Liga!

I just also wanted to ask, what do you think of Esteban Granero's long term rating, do you think he can go much higher than the predicted 89 or do you think he'll just stop and move on???

Also do you know if he'll change position from AM/Wing??
