Fabrizio Paghera

Nationality: Italian

Age:18

Position: CM

Club: Brescia

09_30_bso_f1_616_medium.jpg

Rating: 75>81/80

Potential Meter: 9/10

Basic Information

Fabrizio Paghera is one of a few young guns plying their trade for Brescia in the Italian Serie B. With financial insecurity an issue at Brescia their youth are able to move on to bigger clubs easier than others. Also he has impressed at International U-19 level.

Playing Style

Paghera has played 12 games so far this season and has impressed the Brescia faithful. He is described as a complete midfielder, having an excellent shooting, having the steps and changes of a millimeter perfect game aswell as great protection of the ball. He is being called a beast of a player by the Brescia fans which makes one to make comparisons to Milan's Gennaro Gattuso, although there is still a while to go before he considered as good as him.

Whether these comparisons are right or wrong the future does look very promising for Paghera.

Hi mate.

What's your view on Luke Devere of Brisbane Roar.

I've inherited him in a team i've taken over & from the research i've done he looks to be highly rated. Just signed a new contract at Brisbane & from stats seems to be the main man in their defence. However that's all on paper & i haven't seen anything of him in the flesh.

So what d'ya reckon to him? Will he go to 80+ from his current 77?

Juan Manuel Iturbe

iturbe__sub_17.jpg

Nationality: flags_of_Paraguay.gif Paraguayan

Age: 16

Date of birth: May 22, 1993

Club: Cerro Porteño

Position: Left Midfielder

Rating: NOT ON DATABASE

Potential meter:9.5/10

Juan Iturbe is a 16-year old winger currently playing for Cerro Porteño.He has three appearances for his club but the changes of that increasing is minimal. This is because it has been widely reported that Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Roma are keen to sign the youngster.

He is 170cm tall and was recently selected to be part of Paraguay's under 20's squad. This came as a shock to many because of his tender age.

It has been mentioned that he has modelled his game on his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Due to his lack of games and his age, there is limited information but one thing is for sure: if a 16-year old is being track by Real Madrid then he must have lots of talent

Well without doing a whole report on him (I can do one after if u want me to do one) the facts are simple. He is very highly rated in Australia and some are expecting him to become something similar to Lucas Neill. Since Craig Moore was released he has really stepped up and become a key man in Roar's defence. Learning off Moore really helped improve his game in leaps and bounds. He is also a key player in the Young Socceroos squad (the Under 20's). As a defender he also chips in with the odd goal. I can definately see him to 79/80 in the next Aussie changes. A move to Europe will happen sooner rather than later for Luke and I can see him being a player rated between 85-88 in his prime, depending on where he moves to and if he continues to develop the way he has.

Leo Beros

Bertos in black

Nationality: flags_of_Australia.gif New Zealander

Age: 28

Date of birth: December 20' date=' 1981

Club:Wellington Phoenix

Position: Wing/ Attacking Mid / Forward

Rating: 77

Predicted rise: 80+

Potential meter:7/10. May be 28 but will be a key in the World Cup where he could move abroad.

[/color']

Many New Zealand football fans will remember Fallon's goal that sent them into the world cup. The ball was delivered to him by Leo Bertos, a player who will be key if New Zealand are to do anything at the World Cup.

Leo Bertos began his career at Wellington Olympic before signing for English club Barnsley. He played 12 matches and scored once before moving to Rochdale. It was here where Bertos encountered his most successful spell at a club playing 82 times and scoring 13 goals in the process. He continued to move after that and had short stints at Chester City, York City, Scarborough and Worksop Town before signing for Perth Glory in 2006. He was the clubs top assisting player but only scored once. He trialled for Greek club Skoda Xanthi before returning to Perth Glory. In 2008, Bertos signed for hometown club Wellington Phoenix. This season he has played 20 times, scoring twice and getting 7 assists.

He has 30 caps for New Zealand with the most memorable moment being when he helped his country qualify for the world cup.

He is known for his dribbling capabilities and quality dead ball delivery. Rated at 77 he should rise due to his performances and if he impresses in the World Cup he could move abroad and his rating could increase past 80. A good money maker if you are prepared to wait.

Barnsley actually had a few New Zealand born players on their books a few years ago, including Leo BERTOS (Wing/Fwd, Wellington Phoenix, 28, 77).

His team mate Jerermy CHRISTIE (RB, Wellington Phoenix, 27, 74) was also with him.

Rory FALLON (CF, Plymouth Argyle, 27, 81) was the most famous of them, scored the historic goal that will take the Kiwis to South Africa. At one time it was thought that Fallon would play for England, as he represented the country at youth levels. He was highly rated and Sir Alex Ferguson was once rumoured to be lining up a bid for him, presumably until he realised he was a bit average.

There was a reason all these NZ players came to Barnsley .... does anyone know? Clue: It involved a Rotherham born former binman and Rory's dad!

Bonus facts. Rory Fallon is half Maori and a born again Christian.

Josh Lambo

Nationality: flags_of_United%20States.gif American

Age: 19

Date of birth: 19 November 1990

Club: FC Dallas

Position: Goalkeeper

Rating: NOT ON DATABASE

Potential meter:8/10

Josh Lambo is a 19 year old goalkeeper playing for FC Dallas. He was the eighth pick in the first round of the MLS draft in 2008. it has been rumoured that Everton are tracking his progress and are seriously considering signing him. Despite Evertons interest, he is yet to make his official first team debut for FC Dallas.

Many FC Dallas supporters view him as the future of the clubs goalkeeping with the sides other keepers viewed as too old or not good enough to be a first choice.

Whilst impressing for the reserves in 2008, Lambo broke a jaw and missed a large part of the season. He has since recovered and made his return to the reserves.

He also represented America in the Under 17's World Cup in 2007, before he was a FC Dallas player. He has since been selected in USA's Under 20's squads, and played in the Under 20's World Cup.

He is certainly a promising prospect and one to keep an eye on.

He signed for Kansas City in the draft and then was traded to Real Salt Lake. He is yet to play for them but alot is expected of one of the best prospects to come of America.

He has earned himself 32 caps for USA youth teams and he will certainly get alot more.

Simen Wangberg

Simen_Wangberg_77955a.jpg

Nationality: Norwegian

Position: Def

Age:18

Club: Rosenborg BK

Rating: NOT ON DB > 75

Potential Meter: 9/10

Simen is a young defender who started his career at Nidlev but moved to Rosenborg. Last season he made the step up to the Rosenborg senior team. Although he has only played 3 competitive matches for Rosenborg, Rosenborg only conceded once while he was playing.

Simen has a contract with Rosenborg until the end of 2011. When he signed it at the start of last season, Sporting Director, Erik Hoftun said this about Simen:

"A good stop, with the leadership. We have very good confidence that Wangberg is part of RBK future. He has trained with us four times a week long, it has been in the cards that he could be admitted as a full member of the A-stable. Now the status of the Simen, and it's good for him too,"

Also he has represented Norwegian U17 team 5 times as well as the Norwegian U19 team twice, also scoring a goal.

He looks like a real prospect with the new Norwegian season starting reasonably soon and Rosenborg having only 7 defenders in their Senior team, game time and a higher rating looks inevitable for Simen.

I'll try and find some youtube clips of him and post them here when I can

Kamal Ibrahim

Club: Melbourne Heart

Rating: Not on DB > 75

Kamal Ibrahim is young winger who came to Australia in 2003 from war torn Ethiopia. He played with the Australian Institute of sport in the National Youth League over the past two years, where he was a regular.

He is known to have a good character. This is example:

When signing with the Heart the club officials asked, "Who do you think we should be looking at signing from the AIS?"

He answered, "The number 13."

So they went to a match and saw he was the number 13.

He has represented Australia at U16/17 level

Also Ibrahim has excellent dribbling and control over the ball. He passes it around aswell but isn't afraid to take a man on. Also he is good from the dead ball.

Terry Antonis

Age: 16

Position: AM

Nationality: Australian

x350.jpg

Terry is a young player who today signed a 3 year deal with A-League Champions, Sydney FC. He was chased by Everton but chose to sign for Sydney FC. One would think this is due to getting more game time. Sydney have a good record in developing youth players. Dean Bouzanis, is just one player who has goe through the Sydney ranks. Terry's new club Sydney are playing Everton in a friendly in about a week so that will make that clash a bit more interesting.

Terry has been likened to Tim Cahill by many people. I personally I have not seen him a play a full game but he is highly regarded here in Australia. When he was 10 he won a nationwide football juggling competition and got feature in a football skills DVD with David Beckham. Frank Farina, the former Socceroo coach and judge of the competition said: "His juggling is very good, he pulled out a squash ball and started juggling that and didn't drop it once, he is very impressive."

Alex Tobin described him as "one of the most outstanding young players that I have seen" and "of immense talent without a doubt."

The plan for Terry is to train with senior team but play for the youth league side. From that information, one would think if an injury occurs, he could be the first player to be called in to replace them.

Scott Neville

Neville on the ball

Nationality: flags_of_Australia.gif Australian

Age: 20

Date of birth: 11 January 1989

Club: Perth Glory

Position: RB/CB

Rating: 68

Predicted rise: 77/78

Potential meter:8/10. Really solid player and has been offered a trial at Rangers

Scott Neville has been a mainstay at in the Perth line-up playing 17 out of a possible 19 matches. 12 of those have been starts while 5 have come off the bench His is a very good defender that reads the game well and can get forward. It has been widely reported that Rangers have offered him a trial with the aim of signing him in the January transfer window- really making the sky the limit for Neville.

Perth coach David Mitchell said this when the club signed Neville after a number of impressive youth team performances' date=' “Scott came into the squad and stepped up to the plate straight away and I have no doubt he’ll be able to continue to develop and will be a real asset for Perth Glory.”

He is yet to represent Australia at any youth level but with this being his first professional season, and with Rangers hot on his heels, it will be very soon that Neville starts representing his country.

He is rated a mere 68 on the database but, being a regular at Perth he can rise well into the high 70's. He has the potential to be a high 80's rated player and who knows where he will end up. [/color']

Just found out this guy is a Woodvale Boy, as is Rhys Williams, as am I. ;)

Keep an eye out for some more talents from Woodvale, Harry Hawkins, Josh Tucker, Jack Jones just to name a few.

And Jack Jones is actually a Westham Reserve player, pretty good for a 13yr old.

Also have a look at Josh Pugh
