Welcome mate, you'll prove a very good addition im sure!

Middlesbrough have won again, this time 2-1 at Peterborough, and guess who scored 1 of our goals?...

From 4 points adrift of safety at one point this season to a point off the playoffs :)

7-1 win at home to Reading.

Pretty scoreline but to be expected really with how both teams are faring still it doesn't do goal difference any harm. ;) Among the goalscorers Klose bags a hat-trick' date=' also the result is my biggest home win in my time at Cardiff. :)

We stay 2nd though. :o[/quote']

Wow :o

and then theres leeds! even more wow!

Sean Oneill steered Tottenham Hotspur to victory against West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham United 4 - 3 in a thrilling Division 1 encounter.

Eto'o scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Modric and Ibrahimovic were also amongst the goalscorers.

Forced our way up to 8th now... is the title out of reach? Is it heck B)

Welcome mate.

Shrewsbury Town outclassed Bolton Wanderers and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

Belluschi scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Gargano was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Went with ol' trustworthy 3-5-2 against Bolton.

Liverpool and Cardiff both won, so no change there. It looks like we have opened a small gap to the rest though. Villa, Bolton, Preston and Blackburn draw. Portsmouth, City and Arsenal all lose.

Hull slipped up as well. :)[/quote']

Great to see mate!

What a sentiment it would be to you and Jinx if you both achieved the league title / premier league promotion respectivly!

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Leeds joint top now just 6 behind on goal difference we were 18 goal difference behind so thanks to bottom of the table Burnley for beating them 2-0 and that coupled with my whopping 10-0 .makes the goal difference well catchable now.

20 games unbeaten now in all comps of which 18 are wins.

13 unbeaten in the league which is a club record :)

Most League Games Unbeaten in Row 13 - 28 Sep 2011 to 9 Nov 2011

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Been active in the transfer market tonight trying to make Plymouth my own team, should have 4-5 transfers going through tonight, no major signings but at the end of the day "a great day at the office"

One of the transfers is Daniel Van Buyten and a loan offer for Misimovic. The other for transfers are players ive been tracking for my other setups.

Just need to raise more funding now. Should be fun!

Also looking for friendlies to get to grips with the team... so get those friendly challages coming to me!

Crewe 2 - 3 Carlisle

Just squeaked past a strong Creww side, scoring in the first minute from Peter Lovenkrands followed up with strikes from Vranjes and MoM Grafite sealed the good away win.

Upto 14th with the win - however, home to the leaders, Walsall on Saturday.

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Just a little thought here guys, is it worth drawing up a list of who is managing who at present together with another list of the one job each manager would "ideally" like - i.e. fave team, etc - so that in the event of someone wanting to leave or switch clubs there is already knowledge of who may be best placed to ahem, "inherit" them and avoid letting the hammer ;) fall once again.

Just a thought like, in reality this may be almost unworkable.
