Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Deeply suspicous as to why one of Barca's potentially massive youth players on the fringes of the first team will be coming my way with literally no competition. Am I missing something?:D

Just dropped into debt and couldn't do a part-ex deal.

Gratz Ed :)!

Portsmouth outclassed Cardiff City and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture.

A good solid win for the players today :)!

Don't get carried away' date=' it's part of the Oscar deal.[/quote']

Ah, I see, that makes alot more sense. :)

The offer for Thiago SILVA of Everton from Portsmouth has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

Great dealing with you , Will! :) Quick and fast and It must have been the quickest most relaxed negotiations I have ever done on SM. Very fair deal for both sides!

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Beat Man. United 2-1, goals from Papiss Cisse and Mikel Arteta put me second in the league, just a point off top spot Liverpool with 13 games played. Still don't think I have a realistic chance of winning the league, or even getting top spot as my squad is much weaker than the sides around me, but think I'm good to avoid relegation and improve on last seasons 10th placed finish.

Veteran Zanetti player RW for me today and showed his worth with a glancing header to give us the lead.

Pato's first game at Cardiff made no difference though as we scored another 2 :D

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Samir NASRI has completed his move to Aston Villa from Everton for £5,000,000 plus Kevin STROOTMAN and Alfred FINNBOGASON

Didnt really want to give up Strootman, but I think that this move was for the best. Nasri is still only 25, and he is starting to show signs of being less lazy..
