Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

I am staying up, yes I am staying up!!!

A second half brace from Fraizer Campbell brought me back from 1-0 after half time, to make it 5 in 6 for the lad!! and coming with that 5 goals, 4 assists! :D

Sheffield Wednesday, Shorpe and Palace could all go down in the next two games!!!

Next up.... Reading, but both Nemeth and Williamson will be back then.. :D

Remember Remember - the reverse fixture earlier in the season :)

But anyhow - in terms of making playoffs - this is HUGE match! whoever loses has a foot outside the playoffs in my opinion!

Got Reading next' date=' have you seen them squad..... *gulp*[/quote']

Not much depth though. And although Villa is superb in the transfer market, he never seems to pull off a succesfull season in a competitive league.

He's on great form though, and is now with an outside chance of the play-offs, but i think you can certainly get something out of the game if you get thing tactically right.

Yeah. I don't have to worry hugely as I'm more than safe now with only 4 games to go. Final 4 games line up like this:

Reading [H]

Sheffield Wednesday [A]

WBA [H]

Preston North End [A]

Got Liverpool next, I'd be worried if I were you Bail, Sylvain Marveaux has scored 6 goals in 7 games from the center of the midfield B)

Very similar run to mine.

I've got:

WBA, PNE, Middlesbrough & Leicester

Having just played Sheff. Wed & Reading in my last two games :P

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

Just drawed against Liverpool. This was the biggest and most vital game of the season for us, but I guess the title race will be un-decided 'till the end. I still have to face teams like Chelsea, Villa and B'burn, so Bail has the advantage at the moment.

Nice to see that I could keep a clean score, my defence is working!

Hope you can help me. GO MARVEAUX! :D

Give WBA and PNE some difficulties by giving them injuries. ;)

Corchia and Koscielny can go on loan :)

Corchia is stil in my squad. Make a loan bid :D

This was my replacement for Martinez. Whats everyones opinion?

He is a good player on his day, but he is way to in-consistence. Yannick is a really dangerous and great player in one game, but he can also play crappy in some games. If he works on his consistency, he will be a big club player and a starter too. Nontheless, good signing :)

Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread

promotion to division 2 seems very close now.

Thanks to a 2-1 victory over Norwich tonight I find myself 7 points infront of Norwich with 4 games left.

2 more win should guarantee me promotion and 3 should win me the title if Charlton win all their games.

goals from lodeiro and vitale had the comeback completed after Johnson scored an early goal for Norwich.

up next Oldham

looking to rest some key players to avoid any injuries.

Northampton beat Carlisle 3-2 in a very close game

Three weeks ago I stated on here that my season was over

Suddenly I'm 5 point off the Play-Offs

Overall pleased with my first season in charge

Took over with Northampton 18th in the table at the beginning of March

You never know:eek::eek:
