ASTON VILLA 0-1 ARSENAL

Arsenal travelled to Villa Park on the back of some decent form, this was a big game for Olivers men early in the season in terms of the title race.

Villa going down to 10 men through a Heskey red card early in the game possibly helped Arsenal, Samir Nasri was the match winner in the 51st minute with a powerful shot which went in off the post to give Olivers men all 3 points.

Next up Sunderland at the Emirates.

Title race is on !!!

Manchester United 0-3 Arsenal

Arsenal travelled to Old Trafford for there biggest game of the season to date, defeat would of almost certainly put them out of the running for the Premiership title.

Arsenal produced there best performance of the season without doubt to comfortably see of the red devils and claim all 3 points.

A towering header from William Gallas on 15 minutes was followed by Cesc Fabregas scoring with an overhead kick on 52 minutes and there was no way back for Man Utd when Pato scored the third on 65 minutes.

Re: Gold Championship 93 match and Transfer reports

On the 12/08/2011 at around 22:30 an unproven manager has admitted his interest in managing millwall with players he has never heard of he hopes he can take them to glory and win many trophies in the near future.

We hear that Jpurdy millwalls manager has got a new saying to help build up the club:

Two Millwall fans bump into each other, and one said:

"Where did you get such a great bike?"

The other replied: "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off her clothes and said 'take what you want'."

The first Millwall fan nodded approvingly: "Good choice" he said: "The clothes wouldn't have fitted."

Coming back from this his reply is i would of owned the woman just like how im gonna own all the trophies that are being offered. Now thats fighting talk.

United player Dmitri KOMBAROV expressed his frustration with a late challenge on BENZEMA, resulting in a yellow card and a free kick to the gunners which was whiped in by HIGUAÍN only for MERTESACKER to head over.

In the 40th minute United caught Arsenal out with a quick counter attack, Raúl ALBIOL Knocked a ball into GYAN who cleverly headed it over the defence and placed the ball into the bottom corner putting United 1-0 up at half time.

With half an hour to go both managers decided to make changes to their teams; Arsenal WALCOTT and PODOLSKI came on for PEREIRA and SONG, and United legend SCHOLES came on for FERNANDINHO.

Arsenal looked more attacking and with fresh legs on started causing United problems. On the 70th minute mark MATA made a cheeky run through Uniteds midfield and layed the ball to BENZEMA only for the French striker to put Arsenal level on 1-1. 8 minutes later Arsenal took the lead through a wonder strike from substitute PODOLSKI. What Next?

As well as winning the English Cup Arsenal managed a 4th place finish in the league which was one better than last season and guarantees SMFA Cup football next season. With poor performances in the English Shield (knocked out by Portsmouth in round 2) and the SMFA Shield (knocked out by Marseille in round 2) the Arsenal boss hopes to be able to compete in all competitions and the league.

With additions to the squad this season such as:

TOURÉ, Yayá

BEN ARFA

GARAY

DAMIÃO, Leandro

COSTA, Douglas

SESSÈGNON, Stéphane

SUÁREZ, Mario

to name a view Arsenal wont be looking to be too active in the transfer window unless a big deal becomes available.

Potential starting line up for Arsenal next season:
