My Name is Earl 54
Re: Gold Championship 2 The fans of Port Vale found out they had a new manager after finishing 12th in the 2nd Division which is quite successful but they want to go one better and guide them to promised land which is the English Premier League. They employed Liam Wilder to help them skip relegation which is a minimum requirement and help them go one better and finish in the top half of the league. He had to say: When i joined this club they didn't have many strikers at all and there goals were coming from no where and they also had a small squad. So i signed an expierenced 30 year old Norwegian striker which has been there and done that and its Erik Nevland. With 20 million pounds we managed to bring in a total of 9 players which are all very important Port Vale are relying on Erik for the goals The season kicked off against to a strong Wolves which were hoping for promotion, so Wolves were favourites for the victory and Port Vale are hoping to surprise all pundits this season. 0-1 Tom Hiariej(76th min) We surprised everyone today with such a great win and Tom scored the all important goal to start off the campaign in style. Port Vale 3-3 Derby County This isn't a bad result and with goals coming from the experienced Nevland and Gresko plus a goal from Omer Golan, all i can say to the boys in the dressing room is not to concede so many goals next time round.I am pleased we have got 4 points from a possible 6 and its given us a great start to the season. The boys have done defending all week to help our selves in not to give up leads at crucial times and its really paid off today. 2-0 Erik Nevland (2nd min) Héctor Horacio Gimenez (26th min) This was possibly the biggest game ever at Vale Park in which over 16,000 Vale fans put there heart and soul out their to be the 12th man. Our next game is against Nottingham Forrest which teams need to win as we are on par with 7 points each, we only need to watch out for Endo there central mid and im sure the game is ours. Dai 7,302
Re: Gold Championship 2 New man in charge gets Victory B. Munchen 6 - 1 FC Koln Late Friday night Bayern Munchen announced that they had appointed Welsh manager Dai Winston. The board said they thought he was the right man to get the current group of players back on track after a poor start to the Bundesliga season. Winston stated in the press conference that it was a great honour to be asked to take this job. He said that he thought his time at Porto may have helped him prove what he can do as a manager. Last nights game was a game that Winston just wanted to get out of the way, as he had only been with the team a matter of hours and only taken the players for one training session he was weary of the player not adapting to the new style that he had in mind. The players however shone, as if they were trying to prove their worth and really impress their new Welsh manager. Bayern went 3-0 up after goals from, firstly, Captain Mark Van Bommel, he smashed the ball home after a fumble by the Koln keeper. Argentinian Hernan Crespo scored the other 2 goals in the first half, the pick of them being the his second and Bayern's third, he riffled a screamer from 30 yards. Koln did pull a goal back just before half time making it 3-1 to Bayern at the break. ( Captain Mark Van Bommel opened the scoring ) ( Argentinian target man Crespo netted a brace in the first half to make it 3-1 to Bayern at half time ) The second half saw Bayern in the driving seat again, they scored their fourth through Crespo again, he got his hat-rick as he rose high to glance a well placed cross into the corner of the net. Another 2 goals from Leon Osman and Morten Gamst Pedersen made sure that Winston had a win in his first game in charge. ( Leon Osman scored Bayern's fifth ) ( Pedersen netted to round off a brilliant performance with the 6th goal )

Ross.DAFC85 1,931
Re: Gold Championship 2 Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Alemannia Aachen After an exit in the cup and then two consecutive league draws, Leverkusen boss Ross Philp was hoping for a win at home on Wednesday. Ognjen Vukojevic and Tranquillo Barnetta were still out injured and both loanees from Arsenal were re-called and are now being sold to other clubs which has infuriated Philp. But the side from the BayArena knew that a win could take them top of the Bundesliga, and they were going all out to get it. Marcelo Salas put the visitors ahead after 17 minutes, silencing all 22455 spectators inside the magnificent BayArena. A double from *Paul Freier on 34 and then 43 minutes put Leverkusen ahead and they had the top of the league position in their sights. They continued to dominate the match throughout the second period and then on 89 minutes, midfielder Fernandes Michel Bastos sealed the three points for them. A double from this man Paul Freier and a late strike from Michel Bastos sees Leverkusen take the top spot in the Bundesliga. They are currently unbeaten in the league campaign, and have won 4 matches and alson drawn 4 matches. They travel to 17th placed SC Paderborn next.
Louis 2,237
Re: Gold Championship 2 Mattis takes over EPL Champs Tottenham Hotspur! English manager Louis Mattis was today revealed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur who won the English Premier League and English Cup last season at a press conference this afternoon. Mattis put pen to paper of a three year deal keeping him at White Heart Lane until 2011. Mattis is yet to meet the squad he is working with, but has met the chairman and board, which he quoted are wonderful. Mattis's first game in-charge for Spurs will be against Liverpool, Mattis will field a second-string team due to NMF players, so dosent expect anything from the game, but if they is a shock win, Mattis will keep you informed. SMFA Champs Cup Mattis's Tottenham Hotspur team have been drawn with Spanish side Deportivo La Coruña, Argentine sides Boca Juniors and Independiente. Mattis believes this group will be a very challengeing group, and with the league in his sights, he will also need to watch out for his teams fitness, but would like no less than a top two finish in the SMFA Champs Cup group B. Dai 7,302
Re: Gold Championship 2 Bayern climb to 6th 1 FC Nurnberg 1 - 5 Bayern Munchen Since arriving in Munich Welsh manager Dai Winston has transformed Bayern's fortunes and they have been picking up results. Winston was told by the Bayern board that he was on trial until the end of the season and unless and SMFA Cup place was secured then they would discuss whether the Welsh manager would be at the club next season. So the pressure is on Winston to deliver. Bayern have been scoring some good goals recently and last nights match was no different. They were in front after just 2 minutes when Bayern captain Mark Van Bommel rolled the ball into an empty Nurnberg net after their goalie went walkabout. The score was 2-0 on 36 minutes after English midfielder Leon Osman pounced on a parried shot and could not miss. The score at half time was 2-0 to the Munich giants. ( Dutchman Van Bommel opened the scoring for Bayern ) ( Leon Osman made it 2-0 as Bayern led at half time ) The second half saw Bayern's dominance shown again as they were 3-0 up within 3 minutes of the restart after Morten Gamst Pedersen's deflected strike wrong footed the Nurnberg keeper and went into the net. Winston's team were beginning to run away with it as they went 4-0 up as Argentinian Hernan Crespo's strike squirmed under the Nurnberg keeper and rolled over the line. The drubbing was complete with 20 minutes to go when Crespo's striking partner Roy Makaay headed the ball home after a pinpoint cross from the left. ( Pedersen scored Bayern's 3rd ) ( Hernan Crespo got the 4th as Bayern looked rampant ) ( Roy Makaay completed the scoring and got the 5th )

Former No.1 keeper Paul Robinson will be now used as the No.2 goalie, and Buffon will be annouced captain of the team.
