I would of noticed anyway :).

Just to clear the rules again. Same as anyone elses with no buying off unmanaged teams. Buy off unavailable to manage but no player can be rated 90 or higher.

If you buy a player that goes into the 90's then you must not play him and sell him at the quickest oppertunity.

Bristol Rovers turn to tonights game against Stafford Rangers with a fully fit starting XI, which sees Henrik Larsson return up front with Luis Bonnet and the returning Lorenzo D'Anna to the centre of defence means there should be no slip-ups for the runaway division leaders for most of the season

Re: The Leamington Invitational Official Thread

Bristol Rovers are back in fifth gear, looking certain to get promotion as they do what they do best, delivering a hammering to a unsuspecting oppodent, this time in the form of Ivan's Stafford Rangers, with Rovers winning by 6 goals to Stafford's 1. Right from the start, Bristol Rovers took control of the match from the ref's starting whistle, as in the first minute, Rovers split open Stafford's defence which allowed Edgar Davids to secure a neat finish from all of a yard. Number two followed a minute later as another defensive lapse saw Daniel Borimirov hammer a low shot past Stafford's ancient goalkeeper Peter Eich. Number three came another two minutes later, a goal from striking machine Luis Bonnet to make it 3-0 after four minutes. Stafford's only goal came in the form of a lob over Rovers keeper Albert Fontana from Stafford's Nordin Amrabat on the 11th minute. As soon as Stafford scored, Rovers put a fourth past Stafford, courtesy of Luis Bonnet on the 13th minute. Number five was scored by a returning Henrik Larsson on the 15th minute and number six completed the rout courtesy of a second for Daniel Borimirov. An injury for Rovers midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips gave cause for concern for Rovers, but it turns out it's only for one game, meaning he'll be fit enough for the big game with Albion Rovers next Thursday.

DIVISION TWO

0,,10794~2888713,00.jpg

Bristol Rovers(1st) 6 - 1 Stafford Rangers(10th)

Rovers cruised to victory with a first half bashing that saw all seven goals in this game go in before the 30th minute. The victory keeps Rovers five points ahead of the competition. Stafford hovver above the drop but should stay safe.

Morecambe(4th) 1 - 1 Albion Rovers(2nd)

Morecambe could of done with beating second placed Albion to have a chance of going up this season. It may still be possible so time will tell. For this game both goals came late in the second half with Castillo giving the home side the lead only to have Nakayama equalise.

Stirling Albion(3rd) 2 - 0 Tamworth(9th)

Stirlings chase of second place was closed to four points thanks to Albion being held at Morecambe. Two goals in the first half came with Luton Sheltons 12th of the season and Stefan Schmidt.

Raith Rovers(5th) 0 - 0 Exeter City(7th)

Stalemate at Starks Park as Fraser and Georges side share the points. 6,000 people watched the not so exciting affair that leaves both sides in the middle of the table and probably not looking at finishing any higher than 5th this season.

Adelaide United(8th) 1 - 1 Sydney FC(6th)

Two more teams stuck in midtable played out a score draw. Teje and Neller SNR will look to finish as high up the league as they can but are likely to spend another season in D2. Van Hooijdonk gave Sydney the lead on 59 but were pegged back a minute later through McGoldrick.

Birkirkara(12th) 2 - 0 Dagenham and Redbridge(11th)

Birkirkaras fortunes have completely turned around since the appointment of Shelbourne who has done a great job in trying to rescue the Maltese side from the drop. A win here over also threatened Dagenham closed the gap to one point between these sides and Birkirkara are five points from safety.

DIVISION ONE

PremiershipTrophy_L.jpg

Torquay United(6th) 0 - 1 Notts County(1st)

County hold a nine point lead over the chasing pack which means nine more points for Razzas side will make them champions. Marcus Allbacks first half strike was enough for the three points and a big smile on the managers face.

Wellington Phoenix(10th) 2 - 0 Aldershot(2nd)

A surprise result for the Phoenix lifted them out of the bottom two and gave hope for Nellers sides survival. Aldershot ,ay look back on this game as the one that cost them the title. Salvatore Foti's two goals gave the home side the win.

Crawley Town(8th) 2 - 0 Wrexham(4th)

Crawley grabbed a great result here in beating Wrexham. Chris Sutton and Emmanuel Eboue did the damage in the first half as RobbieM's side although eighth are only three points off fifth.

Newcastle United Jets(9th) 0 - 0 Hibernians FC Paola(5th)

A goalless draw left little to talk about at the EAS and Adams Jets are left in limbo with a seven point cushion on 10th they trail 8th by six points. The champs make a late charge for a higher league position and now sit above the pack chasing fourth.

Peterborough United(12th) 3 - 1 Central Coast Mariners(11th)

Finally it came the only side in the setup not to have any points got off the mark on matchday16 with a win over there closest rivals. The Mariners drop back into the drop zone following this dissapointment but for Boro they still need a miracle but at least they have got a win.

Bradley Birkirkara

Birkirkara have Defeated Promotion Chasers & title contenders Albion Rovers by 3 goals To 1 In Scotland,Bradley Wright Phillips scored a remarkable hatrick to secure what could be an invaluable 3 points & could net Birkirkara Millions in Revenue. This win altough Very Much Unexspected may not have come as much as surprise to some will most definatly for others,

This now leaves Birkirkara only 1 victory away from Avoiding the Drop to the dredded 3rd tier of the Leamington Invitational, But they must stay focussed

as 1 Defeat or even a draw could ruin there ever increasing plans to party on the Island.

But it could have been so different as BWP ran after what seemed an offside ball, When he reached the ball he seemed to indicate to every One that he was offside however taken an opputunist kick of the ball into the goal you might have thaught he was goin to get booked But No, The linesmans flag never raised & the refferee's whistle never blew till after the ball was in the back of the net. The Albion players and "supporters" ;) were absolutly incensed with the decission & protested there case for the best part of two Minutes, When the game resumed Birks had two more opportunitys to extend ther lead, But it was ALBION who were to score next when a bad back pass Gave Nakayama the chance to Score & he Duely Abliged.

But just over ten minutes Birks would regian the lead after a Weak Shot from BWP saw the Albion GK fumble the ball over the ball just the luck Birks Needed,

Into the 2nd Half & the 75 Minute a Inch perfect cross was nodded home by BWP to secure his hatrick & with it 3 valuable valuable Points.

Meanwhile Hibs Drew With Torquay & Silema Won However they still remain 4 points from A Promotion Place & the longer it goes on & the more games that go bye the more there chances look Bleek

Re: The Leamington Invitational Official Thread

The pressure is mounting on George as Exeter City manager, after yet another loss, this time to Morecambe.

Fans are becoming increasingly worried at the lack of good performances by the club, and their position in the league as many believe the club should be targeting promotion.

The chairman said ' We feel George is the right manager to lead the club to success but we realise a change might be needed, I am meeting with George tomorrow, and we will release a club statement on Monday afternoon. '

SUDO TO DO THE TOURS

Transfer listed forward Daisuke Sudo has been approached by french club Tours who have bidded the players value £1.3million. Sudo has had a wonderfull spell at the Victoria Stadium banging in ten goals in twenty-eight matches.

Northwich manager has stated that he is looking for a little more money if he is too part with one of his best strikers but didnt rule out any move he said that this offer is laughable and will not be accepted. however it may open up other teams interests and someone may meet my £2.5million asking price.

Finally Steve mentioned that any move on Sudo is likely to be put off untill the seasons end and that he was concentrating on three points tonight which will see the vics promoted to division two.
