Thats ok, just a 1-0 win with jadson scoring the only goal. Puts me on top of div 2, the only undefeated team as well

Only 3 games in so don't be too put off about trying a team lower down.

The cut off date to have a chance of winning a set-up will be at the half way stage (Game number 11 is on June 27th, so you can join up to the end of the June calendar month - before game 12). After that and you have to wait til next season :)

Re: Win your own game world

Nice to hear somebody's doing well. Despite having a forward line-up of Villa, Eto'o and Ronaldo - plus an average of 94, I just can't get my Inter team to score, let alone win a game!!

If anybody's interested Al Ahly who are currently top of Division 2 are currently managerless.

They were now my SHAKHTAR! are on top after beating them 5-1 with Higuain scoring a hat-trick and getting sent off in the 89th (omg soooooo annoying) minute!

Re: Win your own game world

As we arrive at the quarter final stage, only 4 managed teams remain.

eric barbarisi at Marseille

Sanjin Hadzikadunic of Bayern Munchen

ross clarke of FC Twente

and myself at Internazionale.

One of these 3 will win the first game world on offer. Who's your money on?

Re: Win your own game world

Had a few drop outs recently - stick around people...even if you get relegated, it gives you a good shout to win the lower division next season!

Only 1 week and 2 games to go before the cut off to win this seasons prizes. Many teams, some riding quite high are still available.

Div 1

Flamengo; Rubin; Rangers; Argentinos Juniors

Div 2 (only 3 taken in this division - good odds for you!)

Colo Colo; FC København; Monterrey; Real Salt Lake; Kashima Antlers; Al Ahly; AIK; Jeonbuk Motors; Sepahan

Div 3

Nacional; Rosenborg BK; Esperance de Tunis; Medellin; Club Nacional; Beijing Guoan

Div 4

Sydney FC; MSK Zilina; Debreceni VSC; UCD; Supersport United; Linfield; FH

Re: Win your own game world

After guiding his Bayern Munchen team to the World Champions Cup semi-final, Sanjin Hadzikadunic has become the first winner of a standard game world!

The remaining 3 teams are unmanaged and myself. As I can't win, Sanjin Hadzikadunic takes the prize! Well done Sanjin!!

im now 7 points in front t top of div 2...and thats y i got higuain not villa as he just went up +1 and now my best player by a country mile :D

Yeah, I noticed you seem to be marching away in Div 2! I'm getting tired of my Inter team drawing so many games. Benfica got an 8-0 last night!! What I'd give for one of them

Re: Win your own game world

Tomorrow is the deadline for anybody wanting to qualify for the game world prize this season. If you're down the bottom - don't worry, the prizes will be on offer again next season and in theory, you should be one of the better teams in a lower division. Division 2 currently has only 3 managers - so there's a pretty good chance you could win that one! These are the managers currently up for the prize...

Div 1

Marseille - eric barbarisi

Inter - myself (can't win)

FC Twente - ross clarke

Chelsea - liam turbon

Bursaspor - yarbay timsah

Benfica - Luke Taylor

Bayern Munich - sanjin hadzikadunic

Barcelona - yusuf sonmez

Div 2

Shakhtar - sparksy J

Anderlecht - jesus nazarethj

Panathinaikos - josh elcock

Div 3

Dinamo Zagreb - Sean Cox

FC Basel - carlo ancelotti

CFR 1907 Cluj - Darren prince

Litex - Lars

Lech Poznan - Mateusz Bartczak

Skonto FC - Artis Balodis

Div 4

Red bull salzburg - San Jose Callejon

FK Partizan - rolando vodo

Birkirkara - kyle kyle azzopardi

Hapoel Tel Aviv - ray morrison

The New Saints - ashley staples

EDIT:

The following managers are also up for the prize if they win.

Nacional - Alsonso Rodriguez (Div 3)

Colo Colo - Kun Asher (Div 2)

Rosenborg BK - Danny Bowden (Div 3)
