Leicester City Appointed New Guy

mark-hughes.jpg

Leicester City have appointed Mark Hughes as their new manager.Former Manchester CIty boss Hughes signed a three-year deal after Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric was given permission to speak to him earlier in the week.

He took Manchester City to 5th place in Barclay Championship this season, but were sacked after the arriving of Mancini.

Hughes said:

"I'm honoured and privileged to take on the challenge of getting this team to win and to see us fulfill the ambitions of the chairman and fans.

He has never managed at Championship level before, having also taken the helm at then non-league Barnet, but the Foxes will hope his managerial success to date helps them improve after a poor season in which they finished 19th in the table.

And Mandaric expects a change in fortunes at the Walkers Stadium and has promised Hughes funds to strengthen the Foxes squad.

He said:

"This is a significant appointment as the club prepares for widespread changes that will bring on-field underachievement to an end.

"I needed someone with hunger, drive, commitment and potential to aspire to our dreams and Mark ticked the boxes.

"His undoubted ability is matched only by his infectious enthusiasm which will inspire the club.

"Last season's campaign was painfully unacceptable and significant investment in the first team is a priority. Hughes's arrival is the first of many."

Arsenal’s potential title push took a massive dent tonight as they lost 2-0 to Leicester City’s boys. Knowing they could go top of Premier League with a win, a goal in second half from Marko Marin and N’gog did the damage.

Arsenal first team look unbeatable which Messi,Xavi,Arshavin and Forlan

Looks will give a real trouble to Leicester’s defends but Boeteng,Burdisso and

Thiago Silva did a great job and also a praise for the Turkish,Sinan Bolat.

The young goalkeeper shows many great save from Messi and Arshavin.

Hughes said:

"We have players who can bring quality to the team when they are not involved and that certainly proved the case.

"All the subs had positive impacts. I'm pleased for Granero as he has had to be patient since he's been here. He's playing slightly out of position and has done very well for us.He done a great things tonight and that brings us to this win"
