church_1589166c.jpg

Simon Church is Swindon's main signing, as the lead forward for this season

Swindon Town have announced the signings of a total of 26 players, as they prepare for a tough season ahead of them in what is a very competitive divison 1, with tactics a major issue but anything can happen. From the 10 clubs at this current moment in time, any one of them can win the league and any one of them can be relegated but it's a matter of time untill things clear up a little more. Among the signings, are major arrivals in Jay Emmanuel Thomas, Victory Moses, Simon Church & Josh Thompson who are all at the highest quality as Swindon look up rather than down at this moment in time. The manager wants to bring in a squad full of young talented players, familiar to him where he can build a squad for seasons to come in the first few weeks of his reign at Swindon Town.

Shewsbury Town 1 Tranmere Rovers 0

It took 4 minutes for Tranmere's season to continue it's downward spiral on Sunday as Rovers higest rated player Jens Hegeler fluffed an easy clearance allowing Jonjo Shelvey to tap in an easy goal. After that Tranmere controlled the rest of the game but were unable to find their first goal of the season. The defeat leaves Tranmere anchored at the bottom of Div 2 along with Wesley Sneijder's Northampton Town.

New Manager At Beira Mar

beiramar_005.gif

Reece Gibbs Had Taken Over Beira Mar Over 3 Weeks Ago,

He Has Been Very Busy In The Money Side Of Things Buying Star Player For Beria Mar

pasquato_cristian.jpg

Having Brought Many Good Players Beira Mar They Still Havnt Been Able To Come Up With Good Results having Only Won 3 Games This Season Out Of 7 Games

I Will Continue To Try And Make This Team Progress But I Cannot Force Any Player To Perform To Their Maximum, Im Sure They Players Do Want To Achieve Something For The Club But Havnt So Far So I Look To See Midway Into The Season What Can Happen. Were Currently 5th That Isnt Bad At All But i Expect a Top 3 Finish.

Re: The Veneratio League - Match Report and Transfer News Thread.

Pretty happy with my team. The players are young, quality and versatile.

I'm finally finding a suitable formation. So far I have 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.

Not perfect, but okay.

Managed to grind out a 1-0 win with 62% possesion, against a good side with a experienced manager.

I have recently brought in Bianco for some more quality in CM, who can also protect the back four. According to soccerway he has had a pretty god season aswell. :)

Looking for a new 75+ CB, so if anyone has one spare.... :D

PS: Please change Leyton Orient from Unmanaged to managed by me. :)

Daegu looking for first points against North Queensland Fury

Division 1 strugglers Daegu are still without a point this season, losing all 6 of their matches so far. The South Korean outfit have started the season as one of the title favorites but a string of poor results have seen the pressure start to build up on much maligned boss Caleb.

"The pressure is there no doubt. I understand the frustration of the fans and I hope to be able to lead the team out of this slump soon enough. We haev some very talented players in our ranks and it is baffling as to why we are propping up the table at this stage of the season. As the coach, I take full responsibility for our poor run and starting today against North Queensland Fury, we hope to take all three points and turn things around." Caleb stated.

:D hahahaha Thanks!

Not to be a downer, but shouldn't this thread be in the custom setup section?

Just noticed where I am in the league, and considering I never d well in the first few matches, I'm pretty happy with it!

Time to organize a few friendlies though, any-one up for one?

Yer welcome :)

I suppose it should be over there but Chazza set it up for us here. Suppose we could move it at the end of the season. I'm always up for a friendly, I think I need them seeing as my boys are stinking up the place right now :o

Tranmere vs Rotherham Preview

Sgt Fury and his embattled Tranmere Rovers face another tough match on Thursday as the Superwhite army takes on league leaders Rotherham at Prenton Park. Tranmere have managed just one point so far in their campaign and manager Fury realizes that they need to start getting points soon or their season will be finished before it ever got off the ground. "I wouldn't say it's over yet but the next few games are critical. We have had some bad luck, the result with Bury, the Hegeler and Biasi injuries but we can't make excuses, we've got to get out there and do the basics, tackling, passing and getting the ball into some scoring positions. If we can do those things the results will come."

Tranmere played a friendly today against Crewe Alexandria and lost 5-1.

There is indeed work to do...

MANAGER SAYAM DELIGHTED WITH 6-1 WIN

"I'm absolutely delighted, the performance was brilliant. We were away also, all i can do is thank the players. The new signings that played were brilliant, Miguel Palanca got on the scoresheet also"

On any Injury News.....

Pedro Franco is the only injured player, he is injured for another 4 days...

Noronha Romulo seems very tired and may be rested for the next game

On any transfer news in the coming weeks...

Yes we will bring in at least another 10 faces in the coming weeks.

Re: The Veneratio League - Match Report and Transfer News Thread.

Daegu back to winning ways!

Korean outfit Daegu returned to winning ways, defeating English side Swindon Town 6-0 in front of a paltry 7,000 odd fan at the 65,754 seater Blue Arc Stadium. Debutant Zardin Roberto was the hero for the night, with the Brazilian striker netting a brace and adding an assist to round off a memorable first start for his new employers.

Daegu, last season's runner-up, seems to have once again replayed history this season. The club's first foray in the Veneratio League saw them endured a painstakingly slow start to the season before a late surge lifted them into an eventual 2nd place finish. This season, Caleb's charges are similarly going through a mixed patch currently and with a third of the season gone, the gaffer will be hoping his boys string together a decent run to finish strongly.

Tranmere 3 Southend 2

The superwhite army is on the march again after Tranmere defeats Southend in a 5 goal thriller at Prenton Park. Goals from Holst, Kleiven and Biasi push Tranmere to within 2 points of Shrewsbury Town and pole position. Southend countered with strikes from Moimbe and Diouo.

It looked like it would finish in a tie with 5 minutes to go when Pasquale Schiatterella sent a swerving in swinger into the Southend box. Dario Biasi managed to get the edge over Carlos Gallego, sent the ball into the top left hand corner of the net and the Tranmere faithful to the pub for a well deserved pi$$ up.

Next up: Unmanaged Rotherham....

Daegu cruise past AmaZulu

Daegu brushed aside South African outfit AmaZulu 4-1 to keep their title dreams alive. Jansen Misael netted a brace for Caleb's side as Daegu displaced AmaZulu from 2nd spot following the result. Pace-setters Dagenham & Redbridge currently lead the pack on 5 points with 11 games left to go.
