Re: Premier League Discussion Thread So, how did clubs do in the window as a whole? Arsenal Finally sold off a lot of deadwood like Denilson, Arshavin and Squillaci. Not sure Flamini has the qualit

Re: Premier League Discussion Thread

Actually for the first time since december we kept a clean sheet ill have you know' date=' admittedly it was against Rotherham.[/quote']

Don't count this is the Premier League we are discussing :)

pretty shocking run though thought I read it is about 20+ games in a row without a clean sheet, shabby at any level really.

Still looks like you might have 60k worth of dead weight off your books come Monday so something to cheer for Villa fans

The wait goes on, I think our last one was against Arsenal. Although it could of been Stoke or Reading, we had three in five games then nothing since lol. Think its 23 games.. maybe 24

We tend to score most games though, I think thats our philosophy. Dont care about how many we concede just try to score more. Certainly looks that way, painful to watch at times.

I hope so but Matt Kendrick from the Birmingham Mail who usually told whats what by the club says no enquiries. But the club only tell him what they want him to know, I hope he leaves to be honest.

Re: Premier League Discussion Thread

I like that all your fans are all completely angry at Wenger + board and then also worried about all our signings. I suspect the atmosphere in the home stands might be even more subdued than normal.

I'm not angry. Not at all, I don't know how to describe my feelings at the moment. The only thing I care about right now is our team. Not about our fans, not about our board and certainly not about Wenger. And I'm not worried about your signings. I applaud the way you've done business, most of the players you signed are top notch. Chelsea had a far superior team last year, yet we still finished only two points behind them. Your team right now is certainly not as good as Chelsea's, so I'm confident. Despite Wenger being a greedy .... I believe he'll still get the job done and finish top 4.

Until, out of nowhere, Walcott goes on an absolute goal scoring rampage and Arsenal make it three 5-2s in a row...:P
