No I moaned about them saying so and so should be young player of the year after 11 games when loads of things can change as they have in Lukaku's case for instance he has been pretty poor the past few weeks IMO.

This is just a rundown of the season SO FAR so don't start you :P

Best player- Luis Suarez

Young Player- Aaron Ramsey

Best Signing- Gareth Barry (even if a loan)

Biggest Flop- Erik Lamela

Best team to watch- 1) Everton 2) City 3) Arsenal. Liverpool have been playing well but I don't enjoy watching them.

Worst sides to watch- 1- West Ham 2- Sunderland 3- Norwich

Best Match- From my point of view. Manchester United 0 - 1 Everton, or the Derby, best one in years that but getting one over on Moyes tops that for me.

Team of the season (must be a 4-4-2):

Mingolet

Coleman Jagielka Koscielny Evra(no left back has really stood out)

Ramsey Barry Yaya Oscar

Suarez Aguero

Re: Premier League Discussion Thread

Biggest flop is bloody Jovetic lads... how many must have forgotten he's even in the Premierleague. :o

He's played 87 league minutes. That's very little time to judge him on and, IMO, you can't call someone a flop for being injured - that's bad luck.

£22m and he's played 87 league minutes, says it all :) He hasn't always been injured, has he? Reality is, he's been bought for a hefty sum to be a 4th choice striker, mainly to play in Cup games. That's awful. Massive flop, perhaps not for him as a player, but for City a club.

Yep, always injured. So far this season he's been out for 13/8 - 29/8, 2/10 - 9/10, 30/10 - 24/12. Outside that I think we've played 9 matches of which Jovetic has been in the squad for all but one, playing in 5. That's not at all bad considering the lack of fitness caused by those injuries.

He's not necessarily a striker. When fit he'll be in consideration for any of the AM, LAM or ST spots so he'll see a fair bit of game time.

So the whole of September and the majority of October he was fit. 1 and a half month and he amasses 87 minutes of gametime in the Prem? Not even a full 90 in any of those :P

I'm just not sold on this investment (no pun intended :P ) I think even when he returns he will keep racking up few minutes a week of the bench at best. Will probably be involved for the COC and the FA Cup games, but that's about it

a) Not necessarily fit - just not injured. You very rarely see players return straight to the starting line up to play 90 minutes.

B) Those months had international breaks and he started both games in the October one.

I think it's completely unfair to base that judgement on so little game time, which has been because of injury. I think he'll see a lot of action if he can stay fit after his latest injury, with Aguero out for a while. He's more of a natural deputy for him than anyone else in our squad.

Yep and then dumped to the bench for City in the West Ham game, and CSKA Moscow one.

I stick by my original prediction from summer that this lad will be the flop of the season, mainly due to his price and world class strikers ahead of him. City ain't a team for him
