Zidane " he has great passing ability' date=' can tackle and score goals, but most importantly he gives the players around him confidence and belief.

You can't learn that, players like him are just born with that presence, yeah I'd say he's one of the best"[/quote']

My toughest opponent? Scholes of Manchester. He is the complete midfielder. Scholes is undoubtedly the greatest midfielder of his generation

Zidane.

hog, notice how the player you used as evidence to suggest he is the best says otherwise. We all appreciate the back track though.

One of the best' date='read the quote.

It's not hard to do.[/quote']

I have done, but also the context in which you posted that quote would strongly suggest you were using it to argue Gerrard was the best as well as one of the best.

I am merely further highlighting that IF that were the case then your own evidence is against you.

But I'm sure you agree Gerrard is definitely not the best PL CM in history.

At no point did that quote say he was the best.

Merely celebrating one of the finest players to grace the game.

That's one of,not the best,he's no Dalglish.

Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

Palace had a great game, maybe there start was bad but they got into the game

Liverpool goal was a Palace mess up which Padrew will sort

Free kick specialist scores again, wonder if he studied the keeper movement before the game

Zaha goal was offside but hard spot which many bodies around

Bolasie stole the show with nice skill but shame he hit bar

It was a Penalty evenknow Palace should of had an earlier Pen when Lee went down

Padrew should get manager of the month

Not sure why he would get manager of the month with only one league win out of three for the month of May.

You realise we are only half way through the month with still a game to play?!

And one win in three isn't exactly manager of the month award material. Maybe you mean April with his stellar record losing to WBA and Hull at home!

You're a clueless pest!

Got to say' date=' really enjoyed watching Bolasie making Lovren look like a right mug....again. Palace are great fun to watch.[/quote']

Nobody tell Instinct but I too enjoyed watching Bolasie play.

He is a good PL winger certainly worth the £40m Palace want for him but they won't sell him because they are the greatest team in the world and Pardew is God, so he will just smite anyone who bids and then Palace will win the league and all the fans will get laid....

Sorry about that guys... looks like my instincts just took over.

Haha excellent.

I thought Bolasie played very well today, think he could make a decent career at a top half club but is too inconsistent to make it at a higher level.

All jokes aside I think Bolasie is a good PL quality winger and probably could fit into a better side than Palace. waiting for the inevitable backlash for suggesting a side can be better than Crystal Palace.

He's a faster stronger Nani basically.

On his day unplayable and an absolute joy to watch but it's rarely his day.

yes, that's the problem with Bolasie. He has the skill then his decision isn't the best - Like on 1 move he let the ball bounce between his leg and he passed to Lee, but his decision to make that pass longer and send Lee wider was not good

He's nowhere near Nani at his best from a technical or talent point of view. Lest we forget Nani for a period of 2 years was our best player.

But he's bloody brilliant to watch an absolute nightmare to play against. He's improved throughout the season and got better so who knows where he might end up. As it is I think he's good enough for the 5th-7th bracket. If we didn't have about a 100 wingers/#10's I wouldn't have minded getting him as an option.

Hope Palace keep him though. Him, Zaha and Puncheon make for a very exciting and unpredictable side.

I just meant in terms of how he can be unplayable not in terms of playing style as of course the two are very different.

He's great fun on FIFA 15 too ;)
