Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

Of all the players to keep Newcastle up its by far their best player Sissoko, & that man Guiterrez. Anita has had the game of his life, a deserved standing ovation.

Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

Peter Crouch breaks the record for most headed goals in the premier league.

John Terry plays every minute of every game in a championship winning campaign, up yours Rafa :).

Lambert, Balotelli & Sturridge have scored 7 goals this season, Stoke scored 6 in 90 minutes against them today!

Pretty enjoyable day :).

Bets Placed (AUD)

Sunderland' date='QPR,Leicester Relegated - 25 @ 4.33

Liverpool top 4 - 10 @ 4.33

Palace top 10 - 15 @ 6.00

put these on late March for some fun after using the predictor

Everton has a tough game vs Spurs. If newcastle can pull something and palace win i still can sneak the last one in and turn the 50 -> 90 dollars. Rooting for Palace this weekend to make my longest shot the saviour. :D[/quote']

Thanks Palace!!!!!!!!!!!!

West Ham announce just minutes after the game Big Sam out of a job

Jonas was outstanding and how fitting to be Man of the match in what is likely to be his final game. Also nice to see Sissoko step up when required.

Thoroughly deserved the win and thankful that our destiny was in our own hands because Man United were never going to beat Hull today, managed to keep an eye on the Hull game on the laptop whilst watching the toon and Hull did everything they could but score, a very valiant effort by them against an uninspiring and rank awful Man United today.

Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

In years to come the books will show us staying up by three points :o

We've gotta have a good off season and sort ourselves out. Hopefully club sale comes along and we can push on from there.

Feel for Hull but they just weren't good enough over the season. Ditto QPR and Burnley. Newcastle were lucky they were coming up against such a dead water club on the last day. No way were West Ham gonna do anything major today, it was just whether Newcastle players actually bothered to turn up.

Great goal by Jack Wilshere today too. Less of that next week ;)

Finally, what the hell happened to Liverpool? Was anyone watching it?

I seen all stoke's goals - first 3, got to question Mignolet, Adam and N'zonzi bullet have to question the defence, plus easy header for Montrel oh no mean Crouch

What an end to our season! Record number of points, joint highest finish and a thumping win to cap it all off.

Looking forward to the transfer window and being linked with some more crazy targets!

Montrel?! What are you going on about?

Actually never mind, only bound to be more drivel.

TBH you couldn't fail to stay up West Ham were a disgrace today and it was bad for the integrity of the League.

West Ham made as little effort as possible and didn't even attempt to attack yet alone score.

Glad you stayed up though.

Congrats :)

More happy about your huge win than Liverpool's loss in that game. Such a rare treat and I'd be pretty excited if I were a fan :D

hahaha top 10 :D:D:D:D:D

relegation fodder? jesus some people on here are clueless...

taken steps forward every season since 2010 who knows whats next

Surely next season Palace will be looking at the Champions League places with Bolasie and Zaha you've got enough on the wings to beat anyone in the league plus a world class manager in Alan Pardew' date=' he is the king!!!

A few good signings and you'll knock United or Arsenal out of the top 4 IMO.

SOOOO MUCH SARCASM

Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

Could do with Norwich promoted to the Premier League next season' date=' being Liverpool fan and all that. :P

But really want to see Middlesbrough win this one and get the promotion.[/quote']

At 2-0 up already it is definitely first blood to Norwich.Would definitely be good to see Redmond playing week in week out in the Premier, exciting talent but not as exciting as Alex Neil as a manager.

Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread

Cant help but think this Norwich team will come straight back down if they do indeed come up.

You have to support the argument though as I think the manager along with some players should already give them a solid base to improve.
