UEFA Europa League

Recommended Posts

The second round starts tomorrow and the love of my life are in it, we're playing Vikingur from the Faroe Islands.

A club that have just bought Ricardo Quaresma taking on a side whose best striker recently left to concentrate on his studies; that is the reality when Beşiktaş JK face Faroese club Víkingur.

Article from UEFA.com in regards to the match.

Anyway, the other notable teams in playing tomorrow are

Olympiacos FC (GRE)

FC Dinamo 1948 Bucureşti (ROU)

PFC Levski Sofia (BUL)

FK Austria Wien (AUT)

Brøndby IF (DEN)

SK Rapid Wien (AUT)

APOEL FC (CYP)

Re: UEFA Europa League 2010/2011

The draw for the Play-Offs is currently underway.

The 74 clubs are divided into seven groups for the draw – five of ten teams and two of 12. Within the seven groups an equal number of sides will be seeded and unseeded in accordance with the club rankings established at the beginning of the season. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.

Here are all the UK sides ties:

Group 4

Liverpool v Trabzonspor

Celtic v FC Utrecht

Group 5

Dundee United v AEK Aethens

Group 6

Rapid Vienna v Aston Villa

CSKA Sofia v TNS

Group 7

Odense v Motherwell

Timisoara v Man City

Liverpool wont have the home fans behind them for the second leg, so they will have to try and finish the tie off in the first leg.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2010/2011

Celtic can't even make Europa League?

I know we are horrid and especially away from home but 4-0 against Fc Utrecht is so embarrassing i was in complete shock and that result hurt even more than the Artmedia Bratislava thrashing. :(

Ever since Strachan went, it's clear they havn't been the same without him. I don't think Lennon's good enough to manage Celtic. Results have proved so far.
