Re: UEFA Europa League

Shaktar going out was a real surprise for me.

Eintracht and Swansea both very brave and a shame to see them go out.

Porto vs Napoli should be a belter!

Anyone else think Juve can/will be stopped?

They're up against the one team I can see beating them, as they are the only loss Juventus have had in the league. Plus they face each other 3 times in a span of 2 weeks, once in the league and twice in the Europa League, with 1 game each against a different team. And with Gomez back, a decent chance, but no, I don't think anyone's stopping Juventus.

Yes, and this is how it will go down. My predictions:

Valencia 5-2 agg. Ludogorets

Napoli 4-3 agg Porto

Viktoria Plzen 1-6 agg. Lyon

Real Betis 3-3 agg. Sevilla win by away goals.

Benfica 1-2 agg. Tottenham (Oblak is good, but not that good.)

Basel 4-1 agg. Salzburg

Fiorentina 3-4 agg. Juventus

AZ Alkmaar 1-2 agg. Anzhi Makhachkala

Then here will be the next fixtures:

Anzhi 2-4 agg. Lyon

Napoli 3-2 agg. Valencia

Basel 3-2 agg. Tottenham

Juventus 4-2 agg. Sevilla

Narrowing down...

Basel 2-1 agg. Juventus (Basel has a dang good GK and the midfield and forwards to beat Juventus)

Lyon 2-3 agg. Napoli

Basel then beat Napoli 3-1 to win it all.

This I see as a plausible outcome, and not clouded by my fandom of Basel :D

Re: UEFA Europa League

Fiorentina had no chance tonight..

Btw' date=' superb goal by Pirlo from an free kick.[/quote']

Well I only watched the last twenty minutes really after that sending off they made no effort at all, watching the Salzburg game now, game was stopped due to crowd trouble from Basel. Salzburg were the better team before the sending off and ever since the sending off they've battered Basel.
