Veigas 4,880
Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Ruddy joins The Blues Birmingham City added another English man to their squad earlier today with the signing of John Ruddy. A goalkeeper who has the ability to become a top keeper, sadly due to playing for a smaller club in the premiership he has leaked goal after goal but anyone can see he has talent. John RUDDY has completed his move to Birmingham City from Lokomotiv Moskva for £6,450,000 Ruddy training with England after call up I'm over the moon to have captured John with no competition what so ever, which surprised me. He has shown that he is a very talented lad, and at the age of 27, I'd say he has another 2 years to mature and hit his peak while at this club. Would like to wish him all the best at St. Andrews and can't wait to work with him and hopefully he can help us achieve some goals we have in the near future. sirmarkhughes

We went on to win 4-3 on pens and set up a trip to Oldham in round 2. Important run of games coming up now, after such a difficult start to the season we now have a run of games where we should be looking to pick up some points and start climbing the table. Starting at home tomorrow night vs Notts County.

ruts66 1,458
Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Norwich City FC ... Delighted to have been appointed the new manager at Carrow Road and a big thank you to those involved in my appointment, much appreciated. ... Naturally, the first thing you do as new manager of a club in its 9th season is to look at what you've got and to bridge any obvious gaps in personnel. ... The previous manager hadn't logged in for 30 days and therefore hadn't actually managed a single fixture during the current season. The same starting eleven have played all seven league fixtures to date with no subs and reduced fitness yet somehow sit atop Division 4 - thank you for that, SM. ... So, a few immediate tweaks here and there and a trio of loans (thank you Liverpool, Fulham & Carlisle) and we're ready to go with what we've got. ... Scouting has begun in earnest to identify potential improvements to the squad both short and long term. The absence of any transfer bans is a major plus in a full and ultra-competitive GW such as this. ... It has been interesting looking at Norwich's history in 7046. In six out of the eight seasons completed the club has moved division. After a poor first couple of seasons under the original manager a certain Mr Josh Horne took control and performed miracles with back to back promotions to Division 1. ... When Mr Horne later moved to Arsenal, Norwich's stay in the top flight was limited to just one season in which, despite relegation, they managed to reach the FA Cup Final. ... Sadly, the slide that followed under managers four and five was of biblical proportions. ... So, the challenge is on and hopefully I can restore this sleeping giant ('ish) to its once proven potential. ... Onwards and upwards bigtunna and SJain
