Well Karim at least starts paying back high price tag scoring the only goal in a 1-0 triumph over Blackburn. :) Pretty amazed SM actually allowed me to score a goal though, there must clearly some glitch in this sytem that needs sorting out. ;)

Up to 14th now ahead of a tough looking Tyne-Wear derby. :o

Phew! A vital 2-1 win over Sunderland with Milito getting the winner. It ain't over yet! :D

EDIT: A nice win for Dom too against Spurs. Mo gets a credible draw vs. Arsenal (if that means anything these days with Arsenal's bad form) and Chelsea lose' date=' practically putting them out of the picture.[/quote']

And Man Utd won 2-1 against Stoke meaning no change in the points difference at the top :D

Bolton Wanderers 1-1 West Ham

Another crucial point in my bid to stay up and with both Ipswich and WBA losing i'm four points above the drop zone. Easy game next as I travel to Old Trafford hoping to put the championship celebrations on hold. United only need a point to clinch the title(with their superior goal difference) and i would be delighted with a point.

My Dagenham side were battered 3-0 at Aldershot tonight, never really in game to be honest after early sending off.Guaranteed play off position but i dont know which one as yet as we got 2nd placed Exeter next.It certainly doesnt get any easier.

Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread

Not the result i wanted. Watford played out a 1-1 draw tonight the bottom 3 all lost and i can secure my Division 2 status on Wednesday with a win over Aston Villa.

Portsmouth relegated at last. That looks a bit harsh but it was going to happen it just puts pressure on the teams in 19th and 18th.

and so these things will be decided by wednesday if these results were to happen...

Reading Will be relegated if they Lose

If Doncaster pick up a DRAW and Reading and Villa lose then Reading and Villa are relegated.

Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread

Just can't seem to ever beat Arsenal

Absolutely need to win my next game to have any hope of making the Champs League this season. Looks easy on paper, but Birmingham City have won their last 5 games, beating Boro and Newcastle along the way, so they could easily pull off an upset.

The drama continues...

EDIT: Just noticed an Egyptian is reffing my next game. 3 points in the bag ;)

Chelsea dominated the possession but Wigan somehow managed to pull out a 4-3 win the Wigan strikers deciding to turn up to this game Marin with his 11th of the season also with his 10th assist of the season.

Marouane Chamakh also added his 11th goal of the season while veteran Alessandro Del Piero netted his 7th goal in 11 games for the club with the 70th minute winner, Pablo Aimar was also on the score sheet for Wigan.

The win moves Wigan up to 11th level on points with 10th placed Arsenal who have a better goal difference of 10 goals vital game next for Wigan as we travel to Tottenham who are just 4pts ahead in 7th.
