BOURNEMOUTH ON ROAD TO WEMBLEY

Bournemouth manager Josh Harman last night booked his side a place in the semi-final by beating Aldershot Town 2-1. The Cherries boss was full of praise for his players following the win " It is a fantastic achievement for the lads to have gotten this far, for a side in Division 4 to reach the latter stages of a cup is a tremendous effort and that combined with being 4 points clear at the top of the table shows just how much this club has developed over the past couple of seasons".

When Harman was asked if his side could win it, he gave a little smile and asked "Why not?"

We are not good enough!

Those were strong powerful words to describe his Fulham team after he watched them surrender a 2-0 lead at huddersfield to lose 3-2.

What happened was a complete disgrace to me' date=' the club and to the fans. We are challenging for the top crown in the world and when your are 2-0 and coasting you should see the game through not losing in the last 30 minutes. Our performances havent been good enough and we are starting to prove we are out of postion at the top and we are in fact just a mid table team![/quote']

When asked about the liverpool game

This may possibly be the best time to play Liverpool as we always seem to fight back after a setback and we welcome some key men back who will be fresh. I understand Liverpool will be overwhelming favourites to beat us but I promise my team will give it there all to win the match and try to stabilise our performances. This will be possibly one of the toughest matches in my career and if we are seriously going to be considered as champions elect then it is a game we MUST win!

Orient "Rising" from debt!

Leyton-Orient-007.jpg

Small clubs call for alot of maintenance by their respective managers, and Leyton Orient is an example of such duty. Currently, the small london club sit in 800k of debt. According to financial statistics provided by the FA, Orient tends to lose substantial amount's of money around the 100-300k area each week. Debt has not been shy from the london club as they had just come out of a negative balance from 8 months ago. It took the sale of Borges Romulo in order for the london club to be in the green, and resulted in Rhys McCabe, Simone Verdi, and 10 million heading the other way.

Needless to say, Verdi and McCabe had to be sold in order to keep Orient in the green. This week, Branko Pauljevic and Juha Pirenin are to be sold by Orient as soon as possible. It took some research but it's become valuable experience for the young canadian manager.

42907_peq_juha_pirinen.jpgpauljevic_branko.jpg

Juha PIRINEN has completed his move to Inter Turku from Leyton Orient for 170,000

The young finnish central midfielder was broght in for 11k and now has been sold for 170k which is a profit of 159k.

The offer for Branko PAULJEVIC of Leyton Orient from FK Zemun has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

The 23 year old serbian who can play on the wings or at right back was initially bought for a fee of 630k but is now being sold for 1,564,500. The profit to come in to the club after the sale will be around 935k.

Before I had joined 7046' date=' I hadn't really grasped the concept of riser's. However, as time passed, I realized I needed to invest into yougn talent and scout them. After their development, We would need to sell them in order for us to stay in the green. It can be alot of hard work, and be frustrating waiting for the rating changes, but it is neccesary. [/quote']

As the two risers are being sold, It remains to be seen what Orient will do once it is back in the green. Most likely, Orient will have to continue the cycle once again!

climb_the_ladder_competition1.jpg

Title Chasers

With just 14 points separating erroneously first-placed Fulham from overachieving 16th placed Man City many experts are touting season 6’s division 1 race as quite possibly “the most wide open in history.” With some 39 points still available for each team the title race is anyone’s for the taking. Well, except for Newcastle. Or the other 3 relegation favourites. With so much at stake a detailed breakdown of the major players has never been more timely:

Fulham

Long seen as the laughing stock of 7046’s top tier people are laughing at London’s puniest team no more. Runaway leaders of Div 1, a whole point ahead of rapidly catching Liverpool, Fulham have everything it takes to win the league. Well, except any success in any 7046 competition, ever. If 7046 were a democracy then perhaps Fulham would walk this league, but unfortunately it’s based on results, bad news indeed for the Cottagers and with the slide already well underway the bookies are now refusing to take any more bets on Fulham finishing outside the top 4 SMFA Cup spots.

Trophy count to date: Zip. Not even a runners-up spot…

Chances of title success: Not on your Nellie.

Liverpool

Things are looking up for perennial under-achievers Liverpool. After years of disappointment under former happy-go-lucky manager Studge the Anfield boys were propelled into the big-time with a series of groundbreaking transfers under new gaffer SMH (building on the inspirational trade by Studge of Augero for Gomez). With that loser Messi out and exciting prospects such as Didier Drogba in, for once the ‘Pool really seem to have what it takes to win the big one. If the head honcho stays off the porridge that is…

Trophy count to date: One and two halves

Chances of title success: Every chance. Probably the team to beat.

lockdown-at-hmp-liverpool-after-officers-and-inmates-are-attacked-789377807.jpg

This is Anfield

Man Utd

It is no surprise that the team that started with more than any other team has won more than any other team. United’s impressive haul of 7 trophies really only started to look half-decent when manager OAP managed to stop the rot with last season’s title, United’s first success since season 2. With more youth at his fingertips than Jimmy Saville in his heyday though the distant future is looking rosy. Write them off for season 6 too at your peril.

Trophy count to date: Zillions. Well, 7.

Chances of title success: 50:50 (ish)

article-2143703-1312384F000005DC-780_634x416.jpg

United boss OAP (center) could well be crying come the end of this season…

Huddersfield

Huddersfield are flying. Buoyed by season 5’s English Shield success, the club’s first silverware after season upon season of being also-rans under former boss SMH, the sky’s the limit now under fans’ favourite Mr. Drughi. Indeed, perhaps the only thing standing between the Yorkshire terriers and topping out is the very real danger of the onset of Alzheimer’s in the front line of Totti, Raul and Del Piero. With all 3 strikers reportedly needing to be reminded for which side they play surely it is only a matter of time before they turn their prolific talents over to the other side, a real blow to Huddersfield’s hopes for sure.

Trophy count to date: 1 English Shield.

Chances of title success: So slim at best it’s anorexic.

Everton

Things are looking rosy at Everton who are riding high under manager Shack, or ‘Daddy Cool’ as he’s affectionately known at Goodison. So popular is the man amongst the fans that he was recently voted Everton’s second most successful manager ever. Alas silverware eludes the Shackmeister and despite an abundance of such home-grown talent as Young, Walcott and Lennon, Everton have yet to repeat the success experienced under former boss Danny Van Hecke. Nor are they likely to so long as Daddy Cool is on nappy duty…

Trophy count to date: 1 ½ SMFA Shields, if we’re counting them.

Chances of title success: With nowt to show for some 3 seasons a title win looks more than unlikely.

E5gNYVia2rg

Crazy like a fool

Bristol City

City are officially the new Wolves (R.I.P. Kylan :() – a team who consistently punch above their weight without no-one really knowing how. In fact, a measure of success of the Bristol boys is how disappointed they will be to be languishing down in 6th, having even led the division in the past. Alas, that also tells City’s story, a familiar one to many a club, of the inability to maintain the pace. Perhaps they can turn it around in the back half of this season but sadly history suggests otherwise…

Trophy count to date: 1 rather impressive Div 2 win.

Chances of title success: Slim but with things this tight you really never know…

Leeds

Plucky is most probably the word to describe Leeds who have battled away with, let’s face it, scant resources to say the least. Even today their first team will regularly feature a player in the mid-to-upper-80s range and it’s through sheer graft and cunning tactical acumen (which is really saying something in a game where tactics appears to be utter toss these days) that they’ve climbed to their current dizzy heights. Are Leeds good enough for a top 4 spot? Probably not, but they’ll give you a good kicking while trying to get there.

Trophy count to date: 2

Chances of title success: Less than Fulham, so really not much at all.

Arsenal

Talk about a waste of a brilliant squad, first under the mis-management of Mr. Latouche and then under the naïve and overly generous transfer dealings of Mr. Snooki (Jozua being a mere blip on the Gunners’ radar). “Step aside” declared Said7Fabregas, “I’ll show you how it’s done,” and do it he did, with double SMFA success and a Div 1 runner-up spot to boot. See now we’re talking. Unlike many others Arsenal really are championship material. Will they do it? Probably not, but it would be a managerial travesty if they didn’t at least come close.

Trophy count to date: 2 and 3 nearlys (though the last nearly wasn’t really a nearly at all).

Chances of title success: Decent actually, if they can find a run of form, which they likely won’t.

33mbfkj.gif

Are the sleeping giants about to wake up?

Charlton

Are Charlton riding high or low? The answer you get depends on who you ask. Well, it really depends on whether you ask Hog0101 or not, who in typical confident fashion will likely tell you Charlton should be way above their current position, but not before adding “which is not half bad, for a little club.” And it isn’t. After storming Div 2 last season Charlton are comfortably holding their own and enjoying small successes from time to time trouncing the likes of Arsenal, Man City, and (who can forget) the wonderful 5-0 stuffing of soon to be ex-league leaders Fulham. They’ll cause a shock or two still, but not THE shock.

Trophy count to date: 2, Div 3 & Div 2 titles.

Chances of title success: Charlton’s title success was SO last season.

Tottenham

Often it is forgotten, given the indifferent form in recent years, that Spurs were THE team to break the division 1 monopoly of Man Utd, with manager Newman riding on the back of the excellent work by Joe to somehow limp in to take the title back to White Heart Lane back in season 3. Since then though, despite taking 3 trophies (all being European or one-off affairs) Spurs have bumbled along, struggling to live up to the lofty expectations of the fans. Unfortunately there’s little to show here that there’ll be anything more than an ongoing bumble until season 7 begins so, err, expect some bumbling.

Trophy count to date: An impressive 5, (I remember you Benny Boy) and 4 runners-up.

Chances of title success: Once, but not anymore.

Chelsea

It is tempting to describe Chelsea as an enigma, but really they are just crapp. All that talent and so little domestic success to show for it. Once upon a time TheDuffman gave United a run for their money, but then once upon a time Chelsea nearly (and should have) got relegated. Really they’ve been no better under new manager Dave Jones, which is not too surprising really given how he took an excellent Sunderland side down then flapped around in Div 2 for a season or two with nothing to show for it. Expect Chelsea’s usual end of season flourish, but also expect it to be too little too late.

Trophy count to date: Just 2, all in Europe.

Chances of title success: Should be good, but not this season.

Heartbreak not knowing which is worse, Duffman or failed Sunderland boss Dave Jones

Notts Forest

Oh Mo Mo Mo. Seldom has a manager tried so hard and achieved so little. Long gone are the glory days of season 1, Forest’s finest hour, when they played second fiddle to a memorable Boro side. In fairness Forest reached the dizzy heights of finishing in 3rd spot once back in season 2. Then again they were rock bottom the season after that. With Iniesta long overdue an injury Forest’s one man band are unlikely to be battling for more than finishing above 16th spot, where they’ll likely end up.

Trophy count to date: Not a sausage, unless we’re counting play-off finals. Oh go on then, half a sausage if you include season 1's Shield final defeat...

Chances of title success: Titter, smirk, titter, titter, yeah, right…

Sheff Utd

Like a phoenix from the flames Sheff Utd manager Elton (having quit his beloved Sheffield – and SM) rose from the dead and returned to a hero’s welcome just 3 days later. Comparisons with the messiah end there, however, and despite the odd decent win against one of the stronger teams, walk on water he cannot, no matter what the Bramall Lane faith may have you believe. Yet it is precisely for that reason that United will likely have a say in the title race just yet – their ability to steal points from all the title hopefuls, as Man Utd just recently discovered. You heard it here: take Elton’s boys lightly and it could cost you heavily.

Trophy count to date: Same as Forest, just 1 play-off final win.

Chances of title success: Not for seasons upon seasons to come.

MK Dons

No man is bigger than the game they say, but was always going to be a tough old job for Will to fill Kapitan Kloss’ larger than life shoes. Rising from the ranks of division 3 back in season 1, the Dons are now a permanent fixture in 7046’s top flight and can be a match for anyone on their day. Really though that day was back in season 2 when they became the first non-top-flight team to take a domestic cup, a feat that plucky Doncaster are now trying to emulate (and best of luck to them). A frustrating season so far really for manager Will, who are put together some fine runs, only to see them followed by a similar losing streak. There’s little to show that that will happen (no pun intended) and expect the Dons to bob around mid-table, bloodying the odd nose in the process.

Trophy count to date: 2, 1 Shield & 1 play-off final.

Chances of title success: It would take a miracle.

Middlesbrough

In recent years Boro have become the Jekyll and Hyde team of the top flight, good enough to match anyone when on form, yet bad enough to get beat by Burnley, twice. With an abundance of talent, strength in depth, and tactical tricks coming out of their ying-yang, they are for many the team to beat, as they demonstrated back season 4 when they stormed to the greatest prize in the game, the division one title, only the third team to ever have done so. Mocked by many, if only out of fear, Boro are likely to begin their charge in earnest any day now. Hey, Xavi, Casillas, Aguero, are you listening. I said, “are likely to begin their charge…any day now!” Just a mere 14 points from the top Boro are surely one of the title favorites, an excellent punt at 50-1.

Trophy count to date: 3, the only team to ever win both Div 1 & 2, along with the Cup, as well as 4 runner-ups.

Chances of title success: Excellent, although leaving it late is an understatement.

Man City

Surprising perhaps to see one-man band City languishing near the foot of the table. Not if you consider though how short on depth the Manchester boys are. Sure, they have their magnificent Argentinian triangle but with injuries mounting and a real lack of choice at the back one wonders if City may have sold their soul for some greatness and ended up with peanuts. Golden balls or not, they are struggling and pretty soon the Manchester faithful could be demanding the return of club hero Rob Walshe. Watch your back Predator, they could be after your head…

Trophy count to date: 3! A Cup, a Charity Shield, and a Div 2 title.

Chances of title success: Possibly, but not this season.

messiyh.jpg

Things are Messi at City

And so there you have it, the most accurate and unbiased assessment of the division 1 race yet. If past success alone is enough to gauge the race then you can forget about Fulham, Forest, Sheff Utd and the bottom 4 teams for sure. If domestic success is the measure then that also rules out Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Discounting those who’ve not won a top-flight competition puts Bristol City and Charlton out of the running, while looking at squad depth means it’s hard to see Huddersfield, Leeds or the MK Dons having what it takes for the final push. So really that leaves the 3 past winners, Man Utd, Spurs, and Middlesbrough as the main contenders. Hard to argue with that logic, but best of luck to all involved, especially Dom as man oh man he’s going to need it!

Division 1

HTFC-Logo.gif

Winner: Ahmad Rivai (Huddersfield Town)

October was a fantastic month for Huddersfield, picking up an impressive 23 points out of a possible 27. One of the reasons for their success has been the tremendous form of Del Piero who has scored 5 goals in his last 3 games and has propelled his team into the Champions leagues places and just 4 points off the top spot. A worthy winner for the Manager of the Month award.

Division 2

Carl_Badge.png

After losing 4 games on the bounce towards the end of September, Anthony Maddison managed to turn his sides form around as they went the whole of October without losing a game, clocking up an outstanding 24 points out of 9 games in the process. Division 3

southampton.png

Winner: Rick James (Southampton)

Southampton were the stand out performers in October, only losing 1 game all month and managing to win 5 on the bounce. Rick James has bought the good times back to St Mary's with fans excited to watch the team in action weak in, weak out. Burak Yilmaz will be looking to continue his fine form, having already scored 17 goals this season.

Division 4

newbarnsleybadge.jpg

Winner: Stephen Thompson (Barnsley)

Barnsely's run of form has seen them break into the play off spots, with only 2 points separating them and second place. Stephen Thompson has seen his side produce some fine performances of late, winning their last 4 games, he will be looking for it continue, with their aim surely for promotion.

Reus doesn't want Obama again

08303e54.gif

Obama is the favorite to win the race for S.U.A again.Though Marco Reus consider that Obama is a ***** and so is Romney but he does wants to see anybody else leading the richest country in the world after Germany.Reus said Obama was absolutely useless and worthless and his coach tends to agree with him at all.Romney is another dumb but at least we'll see something new instead of a dumb who belives he's the smartest guy in the world and is desperating us with his best wishes when he actually don't care. Two dumbs in the race for America but Marco wants to see something new so Romney will get his vote at all..it doesn't matter but it is an important vote as is coming from Reus at all.It was a debate in Sunderland training today but all guys considered that Romney should win, even if he's extremely worthless, useless, dumb,***** and more...but at least we'll see somebody else at White house and not again that worthless, useless, dumb,*****,pathetic guy called Obama. The conclusion is ..that both are pathetic and ridiculous but we have to give the chance to somebody else as Obama has proved his stupidity so far.

Lukasz Piszczek...a new light in Sunderland team

piszczek-1336500568_zoom21_crop_600x450_600x45010318.png

Soon to be in Sunderland

Lukasz is one of the best RB's in the world, maybe the best in the world. For Raz he's definetly the best in the world as he said it by many times.Piszczek can defend,he can be very usefull in attack, his crosses are superb,he's the perfect RB at all.So far he played just for MK Dons and Carlisle. He has 100 starts in England, most of them for MK Dons under the eyes of a legend,Captain Kloss.Piszczek has been absolutely a beast before to move in England. At Borussia Dortmund he a name and he was one of the most loved players in the team.He had about 1 assist at 2 games which is absolutely immense for a defender.Sometimes we can confuse him with a winger but he's defending like a top RB and that makes him the perfect defender. You can't want more from a RB.Raz wanted Piszczek from a long time but he finally managed to get him.It was a pleasure to negociate with Carlisle and their manager,Ant.We're proud to have a player like Piszczek in our squad and the manager,Raz already knows him very well.

The All-Canadian Super Brawl to commence tommorow!

Canada-500x200.jpg

Leyton_Orient_FC-1-200-200-85-crop.gif VS. club_middlesbrough.gif

An epic All-Canadian encounter will occur tommorow Novermber 8th at the home of Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium. The challenge resulted from the young canadian manager calling Boro a "retirement home". Eager to make a point and inflict some revenge upon Geoffrey, Jooles decided it was best for an epic canadian brawl to occur. The differences between the clubs could not be more different.

Middlesbrough are a sucessful first division club who feature many stars, and always seem to be title contenders. Orient has been managed mostly by a young new manager, and perrenialy in their history, have been stuck in division 4. Many odds-makers are simply putting Boro as the overwhelming favourites. "The most optomistic of people would not even bet on Orient coming out with a win or a tie", exclaimed a Las Vegas Better.

The rules are as followed for the All-Canadian Super Brawl:

1) Ages 25 and Under only allowed.

2) Their is an exception that each side may field a player that is over the age of 25.

An artists protrayal of Geoffrey as David and Jooles as Goliath.

Who will shine in the spotlight?

Atiba-Hutchinson-200x200.jpgAtletico-Madrid-vs-Deportivo-La-Coruna.jpg

Many analysts belive these two players could potentially be the difference makers. Middlesbrough may be inspired by the small, cunning Aguero while Orient may need to be guided by their very own Captain Canada, Atiba Hutchinson. Aguero looks to potenitaly tear apart the Orient defence as their is quite a vast difference in rating's. Hutchinson is the spine of the Orient team, and one of its big leaders. Geoffrey has made it no secret he will play the Canadian in the all Canadian brawl.
