Re: Official England Thread

new kit seems decent for once....have hated pretty much every kit since the 90's bar 2000 kit......anything that looks '66 is a winner (white / blue, round collar, 3 lions keep it simple.)

cheers Nike!

* oops classic noob error not looking bad a page or so...previous pics dont really do it justice...

Was the 2000 kit the one that was a shirt inside out aswell?

That was my favorite :)

That new one reminds me of France's kit, only white

Re: Official England Thread

Was our away shirt made by Ralph Lauren? :P

Jokes aside' date=' I do actually really like it too![/quote']

I agree it is nice, although as somebody else mentioned the style is basically a replica of the French home kit.

Still think the home kit is horrific.

Re: Official England Thread

England's friendly with Brazil is in danger of being cancelled following safety fears at the newly refurbished Maracana stadium.

A court decision has ruled that the Sunday clash must be suspended after fears grew that the iconic venue will not be able to handle the magnitude of the game.

CBF may be fined for each event that takes place without guarantees the engineering, fire exits and hygiene is up to grade.

"At this moment we have no news that the restrictions were amended to a level of safety that would be expected at this stage," Judge Adriana Costa dos Santos said in a statement.

"Therefore, due to the laziness of the people responsible, in this case, the defendants, we cannot allow the stadium to be re-inaugurated without proof that it is safe and hygienic."

A number of reports required for the stadium to get the go ahead to hold events are still missing.

The last report presented by the Military Police, dated May 29, points to the existence of debris, rocks and other construction material in the venue, which caused concerns for the expected crowds on Sunday.
