Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread

Reus has told Dortmund he isn't renewing his contract. I would say he is destined for the EPL next summer.

I would like to see him at Liverpool or Arsenal. Don't think United will sign him due to the amount we already spent this summer.

Reus & Hummels @ Man U would put them back up title contention. Hate for either to leave Bundesliga though.

Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread

why is young Timo Werner playing so much this season to many injures or is he just Rated that highly?

Basically something of both. Currently he gets the chance to start in his favourite position as a striker as Ibisevic wasn't fully fit due to fever.

However Werner is also one of the best forward talents in Germany. His stats in youth have been immense and he already showed his class in the last season. Nevertheless he still needs to improve and to become a bit more constant in his performances (which is kind of hard at an inconstant club like Stuttgart).

Man.... peps got a real embarrassment of riches at the moment.

Whats going to happen with Thiago' date=' Javi and Bastian?[/quote']

All 3 are injured, Martinez should come back towards the end of the season.

Thiago is said to come back bewteen this and next month.

As for Bastian dont really no, there isnt really a deadline for his return, means we probably wont see him until next year, whether it will be this season or the next is really upto how serious is his injury.

In an ideal scenario Guardiola wanted Javi to be a regular in a 3 man defence at the start of the season, but that changed when Javi broke is cruciate ligament.

Thiago would have been regularly rotated with the rest of the midfield i guess though he would have been first choice along with Bastian in the middle, with the other midfielders being rotational players, Schweinie would have been a regular, and Javi Alonso probably wouldnt have been brought in.

Ouch! Thiago Alcântara suffers knee ligament injury for second time in a year' date=' you gotta feel for a player when this happens.[/quote']

That is a shame, such a talented player.

It's almost like there is a curse at Bayern with Knee injury's. Badstuber, Thiago, Martinez, Schweinsteiger and Robben.

Yeah, its tough and those kind of problems in such a young age are not a good sign. Bayern is really infected with injuries.
