Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread

Never though that UCL spot will down to the last day with Schalke vs Freiburg and Frankfurt also have a chance to sneak to the 4th place. Will be interesting last day. Relegation zone(play-off one, as I can't see Hoffe will survive) also down to the final day.

And some people say just EPL can provide this kind of drama.

Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread

They bought him from some second div swedish team I believe. Hasn't exactly set the world on fire though. 3 goals today don't change that either.

Yeah. Tbf, he hasn't had many opportunities to shine. Had a couple of performances coming off the bench here and there but it's nice to see him scoring a hat-trick in his first Bundesliga start. :)

Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread

The German National Teams trip to the USA (22nd May - 3rd June) where they will play Ecuador and the USA in a friendly will be the biggest farce.

No Bayern players will take part (Badstuber, Kroos, Boateng, Gomez, Neuer, Lahm, Müller, Schweinsteiger)

No Dortmund players will take part (Götze, Gündogan, Hummels, Reus, Bender, Schmelzer)

No Real players will take part (Khedira, Özil)

A number of players (among them Holtby, Herrmann etc.) won't take part due to the U21 European Championship.

Podolski and Klose are also unlikely to take part.

This leaves us with a bunch of no-names and has-beens who will never again be called up afterwards. Not even worth watching. Ridiculous scheduling anyway.
